Hi, my name is Lee and I have thousands of students how to speak better English and how to learn new languages efficiently. Language learning is a hobby of mine and over the years I have learned how to speak 7 languages. If you choose me as your teacher, I will not only help you learn how to read, listen, write and speak better, I will also teach you how to get better faster.

Me as a Teacher

There are thousands of English teachers on italki. Why choose me? 1) I have taught thousands how to speak better English. I know the problems you are likely dealing with when it comes to learning English or any new language and I know how to overcome them because I've helped many other students do the same. 2) I know what it takes to learn a new language. I've learned how to speak 7 languages. Learning a new language is not like learning any other subject in school; it is a skill that requires regular practice. As I've learned various languages, I learned how to learn efficiently and how to overcome difficulties. 3) I know a lot of general knowledge and can talk about your interests.

My lessons & teaching style

There are many tools for learning a language but I'm guessing you came to italki for mostly one reason: speaking. You need someone who will help you speak better. My style of teaching is conversational. I will be asking you questions about topics that interest you and you will speak about them. I try to make the lessons as much about you as possible. I will then coach and correct you rigorously (and gently). You should never be scared of making mistakes, however, the only way you can get better is by seeing your mistakes and then correcting them. I don't let mistakes pass. After working with me, you can feel good knowing that you are speaking like a native speaker.
