About Me

My name is Firas. I grew up and spend my life in Syria, Damascus. I love languages so much. I'm network engineer and I graduated from Business Administration university in the US. My current mission is to learn Russian because I want to have friends and interact with the local people. I love reading books and watch anime. I'm a big fan of outdoor sports. I already ran a few official marathon (42KM) and love swimming, basketball and billiard. These days I'm into e-commerce and online businesses.

Me as a Teacher

I helped many people improve their languages from different levels. I love learning and teaching languages but not in traditional way. I read many books about language acquisition and used many programs, phone apps and online teachers to learn my languages throughout these past 10 years, so I know how to help you regardless of your interest in the language.

My lessons & teaching style

First, we will have our first lesson to understand your needs and goals. Second, you would know exactly how many lessons are you going to take weekly. Third, we will start having fun and you will learn the language you want.

I really enjoyed my first lesson with Firas. His enthusiasm for language learning and teaching was catching! Excellent if you want to practice your listening skills. Following the lesson, he sent me a person podcast (!) for me to listen to and practice Arabic with. So impressive. Perhaps one tip I might give would be to give a little more space for the student to speak more. Thanks Firas!
