About Me

Hello from Tel Aviv! I’m so happy that you found your way to my page. My name is Gal, I’m 32 years old and my native languages are Hebrew and Portuguese. I grew up in in the north of Israel but I also lived in Berlin for 4 years and there I learned German. I’m also fluent in English. I would love to help you to achieve fluency in Hebrew and practice your oral expression with you. My lessons will focus mainly on conversation because I think that speaking is the most effective way to learn a language. I can teach you all these sometimes confusing expressions we have in Hebrew. I taught Hebrew to my friends in Berlin and it was a lot of fun for me. So yalla, let’s start talking be ivrit :)

Me as a Teacher

I am very patient because I can really understand and relate to the struggles of language learners. I remember exactly how it felt to be in a foreign country and having to learn a new language. I'm happy to assist you on your way to fluency. I am an open-minded person and I love to talk to people from all over the world. I am creative and together we will find the best way for you to start speaking Hebrew. We can work with a workbook or whatever material you already have.

I had a wonderful first session with Gal. She is really sweet and has a great sense of humour. She encouraged me to feel comfortable speaking during the whole lesson in Hebrew and it felt like talking to a friend. The time just flew by and we had a really interesting conversation about our lives. I will definitely book another lesson soon :) Thank you for making me feel more confident about my speaking abilities.
