I am Mohamed a native Arabic teacher. I received my bachelor degree in Arabic journalism from Minufiya University in Egypt. Then, I studied a TEFL diploma to learn better how to teach language. I not only examined methods of teaching English but also experienced ways of illuminating language culture for non-native speakers. I worked as an English teacher at a secondary school in Egypt for almost three years. Then, I worked as educational writer and translator for Hotcourses Ltd in the UK. I wrote more than 200 educational articles to help students in language learning and study abroad. Recently, I worked as an Arabic teacher at Fairfield University. My lessons & teaching style
Involving students into the target language by making them read, speak and listen to cultural videos for its authenticity and representation of real speech, its presentation of the nonverbal aspects of language, and its value as a cultural vehicle to improve listening and understanding skills. Short television commercials are often good springboards for learning slang, abbreviations, and cultural in-jokes.
In addition to textbooks, I like to use materials that involve students in the target language culture and convey a live image of the language society. Short stories that use little language and pictures from target language countries can be a perfect teaching tool.My teaching material

Arabic TeacherI worked as an Arabic teacher at Fairfield University in Fairfield city, CT as a part of Fulbright FLTA program. I taught elementary and intermediate students Modern Standard Arabic and Egyptian accent. In addition, I completed one fourteen-hour workshop and one refresher workshop in (AT/OPS) program based on the Dartmouth intensive language model implemented at Fairfield University.

Translator & WriterI worked on a freelance basis in a British Educational Company which worked in Education. I was responsible for translating essays to help students excel in their study and facilitate achieving their goals. Also, I wrote essays about study abroad to guide students in their study paths and help them in language learning.

Muhammed is very knowledgeable about Arabic, of course, but also the culture. With other teachers I didn't have a full understanding of the pronunciation, but he focused me on the tough parts (like hamza) and helped me get those down today. Thanks!

Enjoyable lesson with Mohamed after a few weeks away for some travel. We started by briefly discussing my recent trip to Egypt, then we discussed a picture of a city square and used it as the basis for a conversation and practiced giving directions. The we discussed comparatives and superlative adjectives. We ended the lesson by starting to watch a clip from an Egyptian film. I enjoyed the lesson.
