About Me

I'm Alice from the UK. I'm British but I have been living abroad for around 10 years now, and feel I have taken something from every country. I love travelling! I've been to over 50 countries. Last year I spent two months in Cuba and Mexico working remotely, eating tacos, and going to the beach! When I'm at home in Germany I love riding my bike, going to yoga classes, swimming, or sitting in a cosy cafe drinking coffee.

Me as a Teacher

I lived in Russia for 5 years, so I specialise in teaching Russian speaking students - I know what difficulties you have and I understand a lot of your culture! I am CELTA qualified and have worked in a few language schools, but I mainly taught privately in Moscow. I now live in Germany and work completely online - teaching adults and children of all levels.

My lessons & teaching style

My lessons are professional, prepared and engaging. I am friendly and supportive while challenging you to push your English to the next level. We'll learn vocabulary and grammar, and then use them in conversation. During my lessons, I'll share tasks from coursebooks with you while giving feedback on the screen. I want you to get the most out of lessons, so I can send you our notes from the lesson and homework for you to practise between classes if you require.

DirectorLearn & Speak - Moscow, Russian FederationI now work for my own company teaching individual students in their homes around Moscow. I provide training where I teach grammar and vocabulary in the form of articles, videos, songs and textbooks to improve students conversational skills. I teach ages 4 to adult. Level beginner to advanced including exam students.

2013 - 2014

English TeacherLanguage Link - Moscow, Russian FederationI taught English to groups and individual students from beginner to advanced using Cambridge English textbooks and as many of my own authentic materials as possible. Students always enjoyed my classes and improved considerably during our courses.

2012 - 2013

English TeacherUnicity - Novosibirsk, Russian FederationI taught conversational English and UK culture to groups of students of all ages and all levels, though mainly beginner. I ran the speaking club and the school and taught some individual classes.
