Here in England I've taught in both primary and secondary schools, and now I teach online.
I was a biology and chemistry teacher. But I retired!
Started teaching ENGLISH in 2010. I've been on italki since 2013.
Some of my students have been with me for 5 or 6 years now, and I've seen them develop their English skills. Very nice to see! My lessons & teaching style
Conversation classes: we can DISCUSS the grammar and vocabulary as we talk!
If you prefer, we can work from a COURSE BOOK. This is methodical, and works well too!
For the children there are games and songs, quizzes and rhymes. We have great fun!My teaching material

Moira works on my pronunciation like a sculptress: "speak quicker", "slower", "harder", "softer", "in the rhythm", "forget the rhythm", "pronounce everything", "contract the most you can....". In between, little grammar and vocabulary breaks. Fascinating and fun, I love it! I hope I will one day speak with an RP accent. Thank you Moira!
