About Me

Hello there! My name is Jenny and I am a language lover, traveler and an illustrator. I was studying tourism management at the university and right after the studies, I went on traveling, where I tried myself as a Russian language teacher. It was one of the best experiences in my life and I absolutely fell in love with teaching after that. I have a wide range of various experiences - I was a drummer in a band, I played piano and guitar, I was making natural perfumes and selling my art postcards, also I have traveled more than 10 countries by hitchhiking and I'm a big reader. Therefore, I am sure we can find a common topic for discussion!

Me as a Teacher

I love to be engaging as much as it is possible. I orient on your aims, your level and most of all - the things you love doing. I strongly believe that the mix of this love and conversational practice makes the best results. Also, I try to listen carefully to every student and understand what is the best method, the best approach is suitable for him/her. I will do my best to make the lessons enjoyable, interesting and interactive in order to get fast results.

My lessons & teaching style

Depending on the things you love, I will organize a lesson and research the materials you will love working with. I tend to personalize to the utmost and to give a lot of conversational practice from day one. I also know how our brains work, since I researched tons of materials on this topic, as well as had a specialized course. Therefore, I understand how to work best with the processes of perceiving new information and memorizing. We will use these tools to get to your dream level. I can assure, you will feel the full support and confidence you need and progress really fast with me!

A gentle introductory conversation where Jenny helped me correct my pronunciation, and especially where to put the stress in Russian. Jenny speaks Russian, Ukrainian, English, some German and Spanish! The entire 30 minute trial lesson was in Russian- as I requested. I have booked more lessons already :) Небольшая вступительная беседа, в которой Jenny помогла мне исправить свое произношение, и особенно, где поставить ударение на русском языке. Jenny говорит на русском, украинском, английском, немного немецком и испанском! Весь 30-минутный пробный урок был на русском языке - как я и просилa. Я забронировалa больше уроков уже :) тачка - крутая машина...шкура/ кожа животного :)
