Welcome to my page!
I I am a native Japanese speaker. I love hiking, travelling, learning about new cultures. Currently, I am learning English and Korean languages. It is a daily challenge.I also love meeting and connecting with new people!
Me as a Teacher
I am so excited to be able to help students in their language journey.
I have no certification in teaching. However, I've been teaching Japanese on italki as a community tutor since March of 2015. My experience which I've been learning English and Korean language has positive impacts. I understand that learning language can be confusing, but I believe in making learning relaxed and fun. I'm just happy to have the chance to help you along your way.
Note: I have some textbooks, みんなの日本語and GENKI. I would like to use it as a grammar guide. So, I might not be a suitable teacher if you are a super beginner.

It was a really good lesson. I really appreciate the follow-up references to grammar and grammar books. It helps me consolidate my learning. I also appreciate that Seiko always has a question up her sleeve if the conversation ever pauses.
As always, she gives me written corrections to review, teaches me how to say the sentences right (which is really helpful!), asks basic but interesting questions and sends me new grammar points to review! I'm excited with the progress as I take more of her classes. ;)
