Hello! Could anyone, please, tell me if the following phrase sounds correct: The guarantee period in the original package is 1 year from the date of manufacture. Maybe there is a better way to formulate it. Thank you in advance.

Should read warranty and purchase/sale date... Example: A 1-year warranty is a warranty in which the seller or manufacturer guarantees remedies for product defects for one year from the date of sale. During that time, the seller shall repair or replace the product if such defects present. In Europe, a manufacturer’s warranty is required by law to last a minimum of two years, not just one as in the United States. And a European warranty begins when a product is received, not purchased.
