I have been an Architect for 14 years and a University Professor for 12 years. I have good communication level to transmit and share ideas and I also listen carefully. I enjoy reflecting upon language, and I encourage my students to do so, not only to learn Spanish, but also to discover things about their own native language. As a teacher, I consider myself creative and practical, I can come up with activities and exercises on the spot to make my lessons more dynamic and fun, and I try to keep things simple and clear when a student is having a hard time with a topic that is difficult to understand. I know some topics can be harder than others, and not all students learn at the same pace, which is why I'm also very patient and respectful of my students' learning needs.

Since I was a child I was very interested in languages. I started philology studies but life took me along a different path, until I was 23 years old and I came across International House Bogotá, where I found that this is what I want to be.
