I love teaching Spanish as well as sharing aspects of Latin American culture with my students. I have experience working with students from all levels, from complete beginners to very advanced students. Having learned English as a second language, I understand the struggles that can come with language learning. My classes are interactive and creative so students can learn Spanish from many resources and practice a variety of communication skills.

Since 2015 I have taught full time to students from 13 to 65 years of age, from basic academic skills to advanced business levels (for companies like Amazon, LinkedIn, Burger King and Walmart), and to people from all continents; always adapting to their needs. I got my certification as a foreign language teacher from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 2019. I can switch from English to Spanish or vice versa if needed (but I generally prefer only to speak in the language I teach), and I can also support with different accents, formal expressions or slang. I have helped others presenting international certifications such as the IELTS, TOEFL and USA and Mexico citizenship.

I discovered teaching when I was 23 years old and I've been doing it for more than ten years. I've taught in Asia, the Middle East, America, and Europe. I'm in love with the process of giving myself fully to the student and to the world. I've won many teaching awards including Teacher of the Year in an American high school and I've been featured in many training videos around the world. Students love how lively I am in the classroom. My passion is contagious and it creates an electric and dynamic atmosphere. I believe that we should train the mind to go further and learning a new language is a great way to do this. I know how to get results while making the learning experience memorable.

My motto is “LEARNING TO TEACH, TEACHING TO LEARN” (Of course, while having FUN!) As a teacher and as a student of foreign languages, I know how stressful it can be to learn a new language. For this reason, I always try to make my lessons dynamic and fun, where you can learn relevant vocabulary and feel confident to speak! I can help you with your lessons either in English, German or French and I am currently learning Chinese, Esperanto and Nahuatl, which is a language of the Uto-Aztecan language family. If you like, I can also explain to you the origin of some Nahuatl words! It would be a pleasure for me to participate in your language-learning projects. I look forward to working with you!

My style of teaching Spanish is to mix reading, writing, music, and of course, dramatizations of possible real situations. In 2014, I started teaching Spanish, the world of letters has always seemed fascinating to me. I started teaching Spanish in my travels in Europe, exchanging classes for accommodation and the experience was so good that I decided to become a teacher. With time, I perfected myself and today I dedicate exclusively to my passions: writing, traveling and teaching Spanish. For 5 years I have been teaching private Spanish in person and online to foreigners living in Buenos Aires, people who came for pleasure or to study and need to learn Spanish and take the DELE exams to enter the University.

I have been teaching Spanish for more than 8 years in Italki. I teach Spanish from A1 level to C1 Level. Usually, I use as guide the book "the ultimate Spanish review and practice and also, resources from internet as videos, songs, photos, and information about Colombian cultural and tourist places.
