I have had my own Academy for more than 15 years and now I have to decide to continue a teaching online, so I can help people all over the world to learn or improve a foreign language. Me as a Teacher I started to work as a teacher some years ago preparing students for Spanish exams. Also, I have taught English in a private school in Chile. Recently, I have done training for Spanish teachers in Instituto Cervantes ELE (español como lengua extranjera). I also hold a certificate as a DELE examiner level B1-B2. awarded by Instituto Cervantes, Dublin.

I've been teaching here for a while and right now I'm a conversational tutor because I know it's the most important and difficult aspecto to improve when you're learning a language. I've volunteer as an english teacher before in a primary school and I'm also a tutor at my university, so I'm a patient person when it comes to teaching. My main goal is to create an enviroment where you feel comfortable asking me any questions you want and actually improving your spanish.

Procuro hablar despacio y de una manera clara. Soy paciente porque me gusta ver cómo la persona aprende una expresión nueva o vocabulario que no conocía. Esos momentos “ajá” son muy motivadores! I have been teaching Spanish since 2006 in different countries, such as Lithuania, India, Costa Rica and China. I met people from different cultural backgrounds, and I learned how I can motivate them better and what they may struggle the most when they try to learn Spanish. Mi objetivo principal a la hora de enseñar es conseguir que te diviertas mientras continuas aprendiendo. También puedo enseñarte la cultura de España, y enseñarte muchas cosas de Barcelona (ciudad en la que vivo).

I had the opportunity to work on a ship, travel, and knowing amazing people from many different countries. This experience helped me to understand that although learning a new language is a challenge, the power to connect with people from different cultures is invaluable. I can speak English whenever you need it, however, we will develop different skills from the beginning to use just Spanish.
