Ever since I graduated from university, I've worked as a foreign language teacher. I've provided private tuition and have worked for several companies and town councils, which led me to specialize in adult teaching. That's why I resolved to sign up for the Spanish Ministry of Labour's official adult teaching course back in 2017. My students belong to a variety of different professional backgrounds, especially workers of the tourist sector and shop assistants.

I'm a very passionate and caring teacher. I've had the chance to teach students from different levels, ages and nationalities. I started teaching 3 years ago, since my freshman year in university to gain experience and confidence and I'm glad to realize that I have made progess in this field. About one year ago, as part of the mandatory internship, I took part in a programm where I taught Spanish to foreign students from all over the world, since then I enjoy sharing my language and culture.

También tengo un Máster en la Enseñanza del Español como Lengua Extranjera de la Universidad Internacional de La Rioja. He trabajado como profesora particular de idiomas de forma presencial. También he trabajado como profesora de español en una academia donde daba clases a grupos reducidos de cinco personas como máximo y actualmente imparto clases online.

I have worked as an online teacher giving individual classes. As a teacher, I believe that we can help the students to grow as learners and to reach their learning goals. El tiempo que impartí talleres me enseñó que la dedicación y paciencia no son suficientes, también es importante hacer actividades divertidas que permitan a los estudiantes adquirir habilidades fácilmente. A lo largo del aprendizaje suele ser común pensar que es difícil superar los miedos y obstáculos para comunicarse con los demás, a veces se pierde interés en el estudio y nos sentimos estancados. Por ello es primordial encontrar una forma entretenida de aprender un idioma.

Estudié una licenciatura en la enseñanza del Español e Ingles por más de cinco años, lo que mas disfrute de mi carrera universitaria fue aprender las diferentes estrategias de aprendizaje, ademas de aprender como el ser humano aprende y adquiere un segundo idioma. Me apasiona enseñar, soy paciente y tengo vocación para la enseñanza, me gusta trabajar duro para poder brindar buenas herramientas de aprendizaje a mis estudiantes, soy muy activa, por lo tanto hago que mis lecciones sean muy motivadoras e innovadora, pero sobre todo busco que mis estudiantes se sientan cómodos y entretenidos con mis clases. En mi experiencia como docente, lo que mas amo es aprender cada día a ser mejor maestra.

I have been an Architect for 14 years and a University Professor for 12 years. I have good communication level to transmit and share ideas and I also listen carefully. I decided to be a teacher because I like to share knowledge, discuss ideas, talk about topics of global interest and sometimes controversial issues. In the University I teach sustainable architecture, that's why I like to talk about the environment, sustainable architecture, climate change and development, among others.

Por último, me gusta crear un ambiente agradable y cómodo en mis lecciones para que el estudiante se sienta cómodo y pueda expresar sus opiniones de forma libre.
