Pronunciation is my favorite “hack” — master it now, before learning thousands of words with bad pronunciation, and your path will be a lot easier. It’s not so much about accent, but we really need to prioritize pronunciation, because your pronunciation is the pronunciation you expect to hear, so if your pronunciation is off, your listening will be 10x more difficult. I love teaching Spanish as well as sharing aspects of Latin American culture with my students. Since 2015 I have taught full time to students from 13 to 65 years of age, from basic academic skills to advanced business levels (for companies like Amazon, LinkedIn, Burger King and Walmart), and to people from all continents; always adapting to their needs. I got my certification as a foreign language teacher from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 2019. I can switch from English to Spanish or vice versa if needed (but I generally prefer only to speak in the language I teach), and I can also support with different accents, formal expressions or slang. I have helped others presenting international certifications such as the IELTS, TOEFL and USA and Mexico citizenship.
