As a teacher I would like to help you achieve your personal goals. Confidence is the key to success when learning a foreign language. I always try to help students overcome the "block" in conversations and focus on communication. Making mistakes during a conversation is actually one of the best learning methods that helps students make significant progress. I consider grammar to be a tool that allows speakers to understand each other in certain situations, not a set of rules to remember.

I have sat in the student seat so many times, so I easily relate to the difficulties you might be facing. I find teaching on italki as amazing opportunity to meet incredible motivated learners and share our experiences. Learning should be a pleasure so I will do my best to make you feel comfortable :)

Cześć! My name is Grzesiek and I am from Poland. Currently, I live in Peru where I work as an English teacher in a language institute. I have been teaching English and Polish for more than 4 years. I have been teaching online since 2016. Additionally, I graduated in Travel and Tourism Management with First Class Honours Degree at the University of Derby in the UK. Equally important, I have experience teaching Polish and English by giving private lessons in England. I pay attention to the personal preferences and needs of each student. I teach groups, individuals and online. I have experience in teaching students from all over the world.

I believe that we learn only when what we read and listen to in a target language is comprehensible and I have numbers of ways to make this happen. Skill-building approach, known from traditional schools is proven to be unsuccesful, and I bet you have some experience from schools where they taught you a language but you didn't acquire any of it, or just a small bit. Your lessons will be based on complete opposite of it - Compehensible Input, so you'll acquire the language easy and effortlessly. School system (at least in Poland) made us believe that we aren't allowed to make mistakes. I strongly disagree with that. Making mistakes is not a mistake!

During my lessons, we will focus on language issues that interest you most, such as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and fluency. In addition, we can discuss any topic related to: your interests, work, history, sport, art, current events and so on. I think it is very important to feel comfortable and have fun while learning, which is why my goal is to provide my students with a fun, interesting and stimulating learning environment.

I have six years of teaching experience as a tutor. During this time I've met amazing people with diverse backgrounds - programmers, entrepreneurs, university students, artists and many, many more. The vast majority of my students are also expats living mainly in French speaking countries and this is something I consider to be my greatest asset - having lived in France as an expat gave me the opportunity to be able to empathize with a student and understand what are his or her needs in terms of learning a language. Although, the pleasure of actually speaking it is my biggest mission. We enjoy the process, we have fun, we try to make the language serve us - not otherwise :).

Na lekcjach z języka polskiego ze mną świetnie spędzicie czas i nauczycie się biegle i poprawnie mówić po polsku. Uczę polskiego przez Skype. Ten sposób uczenia pozwala uczniom oszczedzać swój czas, przedostawia dostęp do materiałow w dowolnym czasie.

Every class is tailored to the individual needs of the student. I want to know your goals. Based upon that we can find the best speed and intensity in your learning process. These will be conversational classes in which you will do majority of the talking. I do want my lessons to be fun so the topics we choose will be chosen with you in mind. I love using books, articles, music and any other artistic bodies of work as a way of teaching and learning and also making it interesting for the student. I might provide homework but it will be something fun that relates to our discussion. F.g. to read an article, song lyrics or simply watch a movie~

As I've written above, I am a language enthusiast and a linguist-to-be. That's why I understand what problems you may have during the process of learning Polish. I know it's not easy but I assure you it's really rewarding. I want to accomodate to my student so I can (or I don't have to) give you homework, I can prepare additional materials but we can just talk - it's up to you :)

I'm a very lucky person - my profession is my hobby. I love teaching, I'm really into communicating with the other people and sharing my knowledge with them. Observing my students' progress and successes is what really makes me happy and fulfilled. I have been teaching for almost 7 years so far, both in public and private schools, groups and individuals, children and adults, stationary and online. Currently I am working for a Polish university teaching Polish to foreign students.

I've been teaching Polish and English in language exchanges for over a year now. I've also tutored students in English for a few months. I'm very patient and understanding and I know that each student is different and has different needs, so I make effort to meet those needs. I believe the best way to learn a language is to start using it from day one and make as many mistakes as you can.

I wanted to become a polish language teacher because I believe there is not enough opportunity for polish learners to speak. I think conversation is the most important aspect of learning a new language and I want to be a part of your journey with my native language! The second reason I decided to teach is simple. I love to talk, and meet new people. People gives me energy and I feel awesome when I can give it back :)

Каждый день сталкиваюсь с польским языком на работе и в повседневной жизни. Помогаю, будущим студентам, "заробитчанам" с Украины в изучении польского языка. Помогаю в подготовке к экзамену с польского языка на сертификат(так как сам сдавал его) Владею польским акцентом и произношением. Приглашаю на мои занятия!

My linguistic knowledge gained at the university might be quite useful to you :p It enables me to provide you with some pronunciation tips, an accurate explanation of grammar rules and exceptions, etc. Besides that, I know from my own experience how tedious learning a language can be. That’s why I’m constantly looking for different (more vibrant than rote learning) ways to learn the vocabulary. I’d be happy to share them and try them out with you during our lessons.
