I have taught students in every age. My focus is on adults and students above 14 years old now. I love seeing my students grow in confidence in their language skills. I am attentive, friendly and motivating, sometimes demanding teacher and language coach. I used to work with Blended Learning System besides traditional teaching. Welcome!

I graduated from the department of languages at University and I have experience in teaching non-native Arabic speakers. I have taught Arabic to a number of students and they all loved the language. I enjoy teaching Arabic to my students. I can teach just adults in a simple and uncomplicated way. We can have conversations together as well as grammar lessons and writing skills. I can also give homework to each student to prepare on their own and then we can review it together during our next lesson. I am so patient, flexible and friendly. I can repeat many times. I am also so flexible, I don't have a problem if a student asks me to change the topic or reschedule lessons....

I am a teacher with plenty of enthusiasm and commitment towards my lessons but also a lot of patience. As a student, you can feel free to ask me to come back to the same things again and again and I will be happy to explain them to you once more.

I am a native Polish speaker and I decided to be a community tutor here due to the fact that I like to learn languages and teach them as well. I have been learning languages by myself and through conversation for few years so I believe you can do it too! I do my best to provide fun, easy-going and stress-free lessons.

I have over 4 years of experience as a private home/online tutor. In June 2016 I passed the Cambridge C2 proficiency exam.

I am a very patient, understanding and non-judgmental teacher, my knowledge of Psychology helps me to create a supportive, motivating, and friendly environment for my students. Moreover, I am not only taking into consideration my students’ aims in terms of learning a language but their lifestyle and personality. I believe that finding a ‘middle ground’ where students can feel challenged but not overwhelmed with information about new language is extremely important, especially in hectic everyday life.

Dependently on your level I will use books and special exercises. I like student's involvement during the lesson as much as she/he can. It is nice when student is a little tired after the lesson :)) in my opinion it gives the best results. I will engage as much senses of your mind as possible to make your success visible. You will have full access to all materials after the lesson to develop your language skills in a free time.

Ich wollte eine Lehrerin werden, seitdem ich 13 bin. Ich habe mich in zwei Ländern spezialisiert und verschiedene Lernmethoden und Bildungssysteme (Polen, Deutschland, Chile und Argentinien) kennengelernt. Ich will in der Zukunft meine alternative Schule eröffnen, wo Kinder in der Natur Theater und Fremdsprachen lernen. Für mich eine Lehrerin zu sein bedeutet eine große Verantwortung und gleichzeitig viel Spaß. I wanted always to be a teacher. I studied in two countries (Poland and Germany) and i spezialized in differents way to teach. In the future i want to open alternative school with theatre and german. To be a teacher is for me great responsability and many joy.

Cześć! My name is Grzesiek and I am from Poland. Currently, I live in Peru where I work as an English teacher in a language institute. I have been teaching English and Polish for more than 4 years. I have been teaching online since 2016. Additionally, I graduated in Travel and Tourism Management with First Class Honours Degree at the University of Derby in the UK. Equally important, I have experience teaching Polish and English by giving private lessons in England. I pay attention to the personal preferences and needs of each student. I teach groups, individuals and online. I have experience in teaching students from all over the world.

I did my BA in history and political science and I received 2 teaching certificates (Oxford Seminars TESL and Cambridge's CELTA). I first had experience teaching young children in Hong Kong when I was 20 years old. It was an amazing opportunity to learn and travel, though I wasn't quite ready to devote myself to teaching full time. I finished my degree at McMaster university and worked random jobs before becoming a certified teacher in Montreal. I taught in 2 language schools. I started teaching online because my partner and I decided to move to France for a couple of years. Since then I've been working with italki and I absolutely love it.

I am a language learner myself and this helps me significantly to be a much better teacher. I prefer conversational style and I welcome mistakes as I believe they are natural in any learning process. I am a big believer of feedback. In our lessons I can provide it at certain stages of our lesson (without interrupting you) or after the lesson - whatever suits you better. I like taking notes during the lesson and then sending students feedback using Google Docs. This way you can always easily access your notes. I also like sending students a short voice message on WhatsApp, so they can practise listening and learn how to pronounce new vocabulary.

I am a teacher who is focused on students' needs and interests and I also use methods and approaches which where efficient for me in my language learning journey. I’m here to help gain confidence in use of spoken Polish, and can help with conversation practice. One wise man said: "have patience - all things are difficult before they become easy”. I got student for all their lost patience. I try to keep them motivaited and happy with what they are doing. But on the other hand I love to mess things up to make classes more entertaining and to awake interests.

Learning foreign languages is my great passion. I speak or learn several of them. I know how important it is to practice speaking. Not everybody is lucky to have native speakers at hand. From time to time I help some of my friends living abroad to improve their Polish. I myself use italki to practice Italian and Arabic. I asked myself: why not help others with their Polish through italki? So I decided to become a tutor. I will do my best to do it in a funny, engaging and stress-free way. I teach Polish (mother tongue), English and Spanish (I speak them both fluently).

I have a passion for teaching languages and have been especially interested in learning languages from a very young age. I am educated to Masters degree level in linguistics. I have taught Polish and English at all levels. I am very organised and prepared and plan the curriculum around the learners individual requirements. I provide clear aims and objectives, so that students are able to chart their own progress, and move towards achieving their development targets. I am flexible, and can organise and plan a program which can be adjusted to any standard.

Если вы хотите начать изучать польский или уже знаете его, но вам нужна практика, могу помочь вам со всеми сложностями этого непростого языка. У меня приготовлены уроки для начинающих и тех, кто хочет сосредоточиться на определенным аспекте языка, например фонетике, грамматике, разговорной речи и даже на сленге. Кроме того, если уже говоришь по-польски, свободный разговор является хорошим способом улучшения навыков, которые помогают выразить свои мысли на иностранном языке.

First of all: It is an honor to meet a person who wants to speak polish language. What makes me feel a good teacher? Being a student. Learning languages? I know what you feel, what are your struggles and what is your goal. I was there and I was dealing with difficulties, I know them well. Success is about breaking the ice. My advice? Start speaking, talking no matter the mistakes. Don’t be perfect. Be you! Speak out loud even if you aren’t sure. Please, don’t think of me as a teacher better treat me as a person with whom you can talk chat, connect, talk, discuss. Honestly? I can’t wait to meet you in person. Really!

Teaching Polish since 2016, English part-time since 2013. Two times (Nov. 2017 - Feb. 2018, Feb. - March 2020) spent couple of months in Kenya as a teacher in a primary school. I was also working as a translator on documentary film festival: responsible for preparing Polish subtitles to foreign movies and correcting them.
