While I think that we are responsible for our own learning, I also know that a good teacher can make all the difference at crucial points in the process. I like getting to know my students, adapting what I know about acquisition to each person and seeing their progress. Some of my students have been with me for years, whereas others with a specific objective in mind needed just a few months.
