I am a responsible teacher. Especially, I am very important about time appointment. I have a lot of careers in my school and I have taught people of all ages. And I like this job very much. And, as a hobby, I play the ocarina and the flute ^^.

First of all, I majored in elementary education which teaches all kind of subjects to elementary kids. Therefore, since I was 20, I've taught various age groups from 5 years old kid to adults. The languages I taught were mainly Korean, English, and Chinese characters(한자). I have an experience staying in Canada when I was little, so I can speak English as well. Also, I used to help many foreign students in my college so that they can learn Korean language and culture. I enjoyed it very much, and that's why I like being a Korean teacher in Italki. My qualifications: • Master’s degree in Japanese Education from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Seoul (2014). • Korean Education Course at Hongik University, Seoul (2013). • Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Language and Japanese Translation from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Seoul (2011). My Korean teaching experience consists of one-on-one private lessons and teaching group lessons at the Korean school in Cape Town.

I have a degree in Korean linguistics and literature and hold a CERTIFICATE OF KOREAN LANGUAGE TEACHER, which is internationally recognized. I’ve been teaching Korean to international students, middle school and high school students over 5 years. So I am experienced in communication and teaching all ages and all levels.

Through years of teaching Korean, I have learned fun and interactive classes is one of the most important aspects of learning, since things are more easily remembered in a fun learning environment. I also believe that using words and phrases that students have learned recently helps significantly in integrating those words into their repertoire. I am very proud of my students, most of whom have shown a lot of progress in this area. One of the main goals in learning a language is to speak it, which is why I also put a lot of effort into encouraging sentence construction and speaking.

I have been teaching English in Korea and the UK for nearly 10 years now. In Korea, I worked at private language institutions such as Wall Street Institute and Direct English where I taught students of various ages and careers. In the UK, I briefly taught in the summer programme at Bristol Language Centre, but I've mainly worked at the University of Bath where I am currently based. I've been teaching online since 2015, and although I teach all levels, I'm most experienced with beginners and pre-intermediate level. For me, getting to know you as a student AND as a person are both important. I want to know how you learn and process things so I can match to your needs. I want to know your strengths and weaknesses so I can help you balance them. I want to know what your interests are and what’s going on in your life so you can practice what you actually want to say to other people. And this also helps me to connect to you as a person. I will lead and guide you as a teacher but I will also be a friend that you can talk comfortably with.

rI'm an experienced teacher in online speaking classes through 1000+ online lessons I want to say my strength is a fun lesson. I have various students who've been studying with me for years, and I believe what made them study with me for a long time is that they can improve and have fun in class at the same time. My another strength is patience. Not all students are fast learners, and when that moment comes, I do my best to make student understand and wouldn't mind explaining and reviewing the same thing again. I would only move on to the next page when I'm sure that a student is keeping up with me.

We, as language learners need the motivation to keep learning. In my opinion, that kind of motivation mainly comes from having regular conversations with native speakers, especially those who have experienced the same struggles of learning a new language. In that sense, I really want to be a supporter of yours. I also majored art and art Studies, art history, and now I work as an art teacher.
