And I hope that you find out your methods for the Korean study easily through my lesson. Do not be afraid to make speaking mistakes. I do not judge you, so please say a lot of Korean during our lesson. I hope you have confidence in your speaking after taking my lesson.

I've taught students over 15 years I have been teaching for a long time and I know that each student has a different personality of learning something. But, as I teach them for a long time, I realized that there is a common practice to learning new. One of the things that I would say you should enjoy it and be funny. I can make our class fun and joyful to learn Korean base on my long teaching experience. I am sure that I was a good teacher for all of my students.

한국어는 1년 전 부터 온라인으로 가르치고 있습니다. **톡에서 강의를 한 적도 있고요. 현재는 주로 일본인과 홍콩인을 대상으로 매주 스카이프를 통해 가르치고 있습니다. 한국어는 아니지만 일본어를 오래전에 학원과 과외 그리고 방과 후 수업을 한 적이 있습니다. 과외는최근까지 하고 있었는데 코비드로인해서 지금은 잠시 쉬는 중입니다.

중국에서 교환학생으로 생활했을 당시, 한국어 선생님이되어 중국학생들을 가르친 경험이 있습니다. 한 학기동악 약 200명의 중국인 앞에서 2시간동안 수업을 했습니다. 때문에 한국어를 가르치기 위한 자료도 있으며 한국어를 가르치는 일에 자신있습니다. 대화 뿐만아니라 체계적으로 한국어를 배울 수 있도록 하겠습니다. 현재는 교회에서 초등학생 친구들을 가르치고 있습니다. 약 4년정도 초등학생 친구들을 지도하고 있습니다. 더불어 수학강사로도 2달간 근무했던 경험이 있습니다.

I have tutored high school and university students while I was doing my bachelor’s and master’s programs in Seoul. One thing I have learned from that experience is that we should be open-minded and try to think from different perspectives. For example, I might be a teacher in Korean but I am also a Dutch learner. I try to reflect my experience as a language learner to check in on how I deliver my teaching sessions.

Looking back in 2012, for the first time, I started sharing culture and the Korean language with people who were interested in Hangul. I have steadily been teaching many students through that opportunity until now. Various students did not know anything about Hangul & Korea, but their interest in culture, K-pop, and K-dream enthusiasm for learning increased the learning effect. As a language learner like YOU, I also have experienced so many trials and errors whilst studying foreign languages. Long story short, frankly, I gave up many times in the middle of studying as I felt skeptical about the fact barely improvement was seen no matter how hard I struggled. However, I kept patient and eventually managed that difficult moment, and here I am! I know there are many of you out here who have had the same feeling I experienced or are now dominated by such frustration whilst learning a Korean language. I am not here to flatter you saying I will perfectly guide you to master Korean, but to cheer you up staying patiently next to you because you will never walk alone!

When I was in high school, I had a homestay with an American friend and a Japanese friend when I was in middle school. I introduced the local characteristics and traditional manners of Korea to them and I taught them about Korea. Even in simple sentences, we talked as much as we could, and I helped them get used to Korean. To learn a language, I think it is most important not to be afraid of mistakes.
