I've been teaching online and offline since 2016. I can say I got some experience! I've thought to all kinds of ages, that's why I developed an ability to adapt my teaching method to a single student. I have plenty of patience, and most of all, I teach with all my heart. Teaching for me is a pleasure, not a job. My mission is to help you to reach your goals!

Parlo inglese, spagnolo e discretamente il francese e il tedesco; so cosa significa studiare una lingua in modo accademico e invece ciò che implica impararla direttamente sul campo. Ciao a tutti! Mi chiamo Pier Paola e Insegno italiano agli stranieri (adulti e bambini) dal 2009. Ho vissuto e lavorato all'estero (Russia, Estonia e Australia).

Comprendo a pieno la difficoltà di imparare lingue nuove. Con me, non avrete semplicemente una lezione frontale, ma un vero dialogo pratico dove ci scambiamo idee, esperienze e conoscenze che rende l’apprendimento di una lingua possibile e divertente. Languages, under any perspective, are my main passion, and Italian is the common theme of my academic studies, my working experiences and many of my hobbies. During the last 8 years I have been teaching Italian as L2 both in Italy and Spain and it is a privilege to see my students improving their skills with time.

Working as a teacher with many different students and learning styles forces me to adapt my materials and subjects to each and every person I have in front of me. Therefore teaching is never boring! I realised that students are mainly interested in conversation and developing the speaking tips that are so important to get through a real situation with native speakers. So, in my (our) lessons the student will be the one speaking, the main character who, with my guidance, will be able to find a way to express him/herself in a new language!

Ho varie esperienze con ragazzi: li ho aiutati a preparare diverse materie scolastiche tra cui spagnolo e italiano. Ho frequentato il corso di formazione di base di ELE (insegnamento dello spagnolo come lingua straniera) presso l'Instituto Cervantes di Roma. I have experience with kids: I helped them studying different subjects, including Spanish and Italian. I attended a basic ELE course (teaching spanish as foreign language) at the Instituto Cervantes in Rome.

I am a teacher who tries to understand the needs of the student, I am friendly and kind and I try to convey passion during the lesson.

My goal is to create a friendly environment where you can practice Italian in any possible form. My lessons will be interactive and fun, to maintain your motivation strong and to increase your confidence in the language. You will learn at your own pace, with my help. You choose the difficulty, I will find the words. No worries, no judgment. If you're just starting and you don't know many Italian words, don't worry! In the beginning, we can speak English. In this way, you are going to quickly adapt to the language to then be able to speak only in Italian.

I always enjoyed learning and teaching languages and in 2017, I decided to do this professionally. Teaching languages is extremely fun for me and makes me happy! My friends and colleagues think I’m very patient and relaxed, a good listener and an incurable optimist!

I love to help other people to learn a new language, because I think that to be bilingual is one of the greatest thing you can do in your life! My motto is: you can't buy happiness, but you can learn languages and that's kind of the same thing!

I've been teaching for 2 years in a high school in the morning and some language schools in the afternoon. I also gave some private classes to students that needed to improve their school marks or were preparing for the Cambridge First Certificate. Due to the fact I love studying languages myself, I feel I have the tools to understand how different people learn, and that learning should be interesting and fun. It is for this reason that I welcome suggestions and requests from students to enable me to adapt every single class towards what the student wants.
