Ho esperienza nell'insegnamento delle lingue, mi piace assecondare le esigenze dei miei studenti e cerco sempre di rendere le lezioni piacevoli e interessanti in modo da facilitare l'apprendimento della lingua e invogliare lo studente a essere sempre curioso, che è la chiave per non smettere mai di imparare. -I gained experience in teaching languages, I follow the students' needs and I always try to plan enjoyable and interesting lessons to ease the learning process and to make students constantly curious, which is the key to lifelong learning.

My passion for languages comes from my interest in other cultures, from the desire to know the world and open my mind. I lived for a short period of my life in Dresden, Germany, to empower my German knowledge; i started to approach teaching there, because some students like me were interested in learning Italian, so they asked me to teach them something. Once back in Italy, i continued specializing in this teaching area.

Frequentando un corso di laurea che prevede l'apprendimento di più lingue straniere, ho avuto l'opportunità di osservare e di acquisire quelle che sono le più svariate tipologie d'insegnamento. E' fantastico osservare come l'apprendimento di una lingua straniera sia più semplice attraverso giochi, canzoni e film. Sono una persona molto paziente ed empatica, sono in grado di semplificare quanto più possibile i concetti più complessi.

Da dicembre 2020 insegno italiano agli studenti stranieri in alcune scuole di Milano. Trovo che sia una esperienza gratificante e molto interessante. Mi considero un'insegnante paziente e comprensiva.

As a teacher I am very patient and understanding. I strongly believe that a friendly communication during lessons can do wonders. I always try to make students feel at ease, by creating an environment where there’s absolutely no need to feel afraid of making mistakes. My goal will always be to motivate my students to reach beyond their grasp, and remind them of their progress.

I’m a language learner addicted. I speak English, Spanish and I'm learning Swedish at the moment. Traveling to several countries, I had the luck to meet several polyglots who gave me precious advices to learn languages on my own and that’s what I’m doing for several years. My mission is to transfer my knowledge and my passion for the ones who want to learn Italian (my native language). Thanks to my Psychology- Pedagogy- Sociology studies background and my innate empathy, I will guide you to learn &/or improve this interesting and beautiful language, and... you will learn also gestures! Sono laureata in Lingue e letterature moderne europee e americane e ho conseguito la Certificazione Cedils, in didattica dell'italiano per stranieri. Nel corso della mia carriera universitaria ho dato delle lezioni private di inglese e spagnolo a ragazzi e adulti e ho svolto due tirocini d'insegnamento presso due scuole. I graduated from the University of Cagliari (Italy) in Languages. I also have a certificate to teach Italian to foreign people (Cedils). During university, I taught Spanish and English to adults and young people and I made two apprenticeships in two schools in Italy.

Comprendo a pieno la difficoltà di imparare lingue nuove. Con me, non avrete semplicemente una lezione frontale, ma un vero dialogo pratico dove ci scambiamo idee, esperienze e conoscenze che rende l’apprendimento di una lingua possibile e divertente. I started to teach 12 years ago, after my graduations in Italian cultural heritage. I started to work in a theatre with children and teenagers. I developed my teaching skills and I collaborated with theaters, associations and schools. In the first years of experience I taught theatre and art: I learned a lot about how to teach, how to relate with students, how to listen them and how make everything interesting for all kind of different people. Then I started to teach English in primary and secondary schools and in some associations where adults wanted to learn a new language. After that I started with Italian in some associations of foreigners.

Insegno alla Dante Alighieri di Palermo, tengo da anni lezioni su Skype e ho fatto diverse volte esperienze di homestay a casa mia: gli studenti di tutto il mondo sono ospiti nel mio appartamento, vivono con me e la mia famiglia e imparano l'italiano facendo con me un corso intensivo di lingua italiana. Sono contraria ai vecchi metodi di insegnamento quando l'insegnante era il centro della lezione. Mi piace che lo studente sia il protagonista del processo di apprendimento della lingua. E per farlo deve divertirsi! Deve appassionarsi, vivere la lezione come un momento importante di crescita. Come insegnante, devo guidarlo in questo processo ascoltando le sue necessità e richieste.

At university, I studied three foreign languages and then I did a Master's in translation. Studying translation made me aware of the importance of knowing my native language perfectly and throught my foreign language(s) learning I tried many types of exercises. As I am experienced in learning a new language, I feel like I can now help other people with it and adapt myself to their requirements. I am a kind and open-minded person and am also available to speak Spanish with you if it's your native language and you don't feel very comfortable speaking English.
