As a teacher, in the last 25 years of experience, I've come across many different students. I currently teach English in an English school here in Italy, that's the reason my availability was limitated in the last year. Each one of them has their own characteristics and learning capacities. I try to elaborate custom methods together with the student, in order to reach the best learning procedure to use, from schematizations to memory methods, linguistic assonance and much more. I think that each student has a great potential and that the best teacher is the teacher that is able to take this potential and make it grow!

My teaching experience began in Italy, teaching foreigners that they were integrating in my country. Then I worked in Colombia, in private schools with children and adolescents, as well as with one-to-one lessons for adults. I learned to understand the differences and specificities of each student, to provide them with the lessons and the most suitable tools for his progress. Now I'm teaching in Peru and I'm happy, Teaching and communicating are two things that I love so much!

I love teaching: since I was a child I've always wanted to become a teacher. I have been teaching italian for more than two years online and in presence both individually and to groups of students. I attended a language teaching course at the Ca' Foscari University. I’m currently helping young people (from 10 to 15 years old) with English and Italian.

As a teacher I will teach you to be confident avoiding the fear to making mistakes, which is a crucial component for learning faster. We will practice a lot through conversation which will help you to gain confidence in communicating and understanding Italian in typical “everyday scenarios”, and most important we will learn the Italian language using a cultural approach more than an academic one, without, however, neglecting the study of grammar and pronunciation. Our conversation will be setting in a relaxed environment, as if it was a talk with friends.

I have been teaching Italian for two years, and I specialise in adults from 17 years old. During this time, I fell in love with my profession as I really like sharing my knowledge with people. I always try to improve my teaching style. For this reason, I studied how to teach languages at university and took courses about language coaching and microlearning in my free time. I also wrote my thesis about teaching languages, and the methodology called flipped classroom. Thus, if you want to try one of these ways of learning languages, you are welcome!

My first experience with language-teaching and exchange (a good and useful experience) was represented by tandem language learning (when I lived in Brighton). My lessons are structured according to language proficiency levels set by the European framework. But, beyond that, methodology, approach and the relationship between teacher and student are all that matters. Language isn't just grammar. Language is a communicative act and grammar plays a fundamental role in order to learn a language. It can't be, however, the only way to "achieve the objective". I think you can learn languages if you don't get bored, if you feel enthusiasm, if you have passion for what you are learning.

Per conoscere il mondo come madrelingua italiana è stato quasi un obbligo imparare lingue straniere. Parlo inglese, spagnolo e discretamente il francese e il tedesco; so cosa significa studiare una lingua in modo accademico e invece ciò che implica impararla direttamente sul campo. Per questo da 5 anni ho deciso di dedicarmi all'insegnamento e trasmettere qualche trucco per apprendere l'essenza dell'italiano velocemente e divertendosi.

I believe studying a language has to be an enjoyable experience, therefore I aim to be a patient and understanding teacher who tries her best to make her lessons productive and interesting at the same time. I really care about my student needs and adapt my lessons to every single one of them.

Sono un insegnante empatica e comprensiva, capisco le difficoltà che si celano dietro il processo di apprendimento e per questo cerco di essere più chiara possibile. Mi piace confrontarmi con i miei studenti, avere conversazioni che spaziano dalle ricette per la pizza alla filosofia di Schopenhauer. Sono molto curiosa: mi piace scoprire cose nuove sulle lingue e le culture straniere, pongo molte domande e mi piace che mi vengano poste delle domande.

The ability to speak correctly and with a good pronunciation is the most significative and fulfilling skill you will ever get, while learning a new language. That's why I organise each lesson as guided dialogue. This allows us to train at once each aspect of the language: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening. Moreover, it boosts speed of learning and improves mnemonic processes.

Non voglio essere solo il vostro insegnante, ma anche il vostro educatore. Vorrei darvi dei consigli per imparare l'italiano con un approccio comunicativo che favorisca la partecipazione attiva e la curiosità. Insegno francese in istituzioni scolastiche italiane dove ho imparato le moderne tecniche di insegnamento e la padronanza dei programmi scolastici. Ho insegnato presso associazioni di italiano L2 a Roma dove ho lavorato con bambini, adulti, in classi individuali, con gruppi di conversazione o corsi di preparazione agli esami ufficiali.

Me dedico a la enseñanza del Italiano desde el año 1999, inicialmente como segunda lengua a inmigrantes en Italia y luego como lengua extranjera en Holanda, Islas Canarias y provincia de Cádiz, donde resido desde el 2006. Soy licenciada en Lenguas y Literaturas Extranjeras, me he especializado en la enseñanza del italiano y sigo formándome a través de cursos, seminarios y certificaciones en didáctica del italiano como lengua extranjera en universidades italianas, la Cedils (Universidad de Venecia, 2014), el curso de formación para docentes de italiano LE de la Universidad de Perugia (2017) y la Ditals II (Universidad de Siena, 2019).

I love my country, and I would like to teach my language to everyone who wants to talk about Italian culture, foreign countries, politics, music, tv, food. We will work on customising lessons, based on your level and goals. I care about my students and about forming a human relationship that can make our lessons both useful and enjoyable.

I've been a teacher for six years and I do believe that the most important thing is to empathize with the students, which implies these three things: - The student feels at ease during the lesson. - I can adapt to every need the student has. - The lesson is tailor-made.

Sono un'insegnante che ama il suo lavoro, molto motivata e motivante ed estremamente paziente. La mia esperienza lavorativa è legata ad apprendenti madrelingua cinese. Dal momento che ho insegnato a studenti di età differenti (dai 6 ai 40 anni) e di conseguenza con esigenze differenti, sono profondamente consapevole della necessità di adattare il mio metodo di insegnamento alle diverse situazioni che mi si presentino.
