My goal is to teach you this fantastic language in a simple and effective way! The purpose of my lessons is to dare my student to speak as much as possible about the various topics, based on the level of mastery of the language itself.

I am a serious, but relaxed teacher. I like to think that it is easier to memorize new things when having fun, rather than under stress.

In my studies, I have learned new tricks about learning and improving the comprehension of a language, method that we can use together to reach the level of proficiency you are aiming for. I am looking forward to seeing you, picking you up from where you are right now, and taking you further.

I am patient, pleasantly funny and available. I also try my best to explain as much clearly as possible and pay greater attention to any doubts that may be cast, giving the most exhaustive and understandable clarification.

My professional experience comprehends children, adults and managers who study Italian for professional reasons. My teaching method is based on a comunicative approach, that allows the students to use actively the language since beginners level. You’re going to learn Italian with enthusiasm and motivation and every lesson you will improve and learn something new. We will work on all the aspects of the language: speaking, with pronunciation, fluency and intonation, listening, reading, grammar, vocabulary and everything you need! Moreover, If you are interested in Italian culture and art, I have a degree in History of Art and I will guide you through the wonders of Italy!

I consider myself an interested and committed tutor but also a learner that always wants to improve herself. I think that every person has a different learning style and I truly believe that "What we learn with pleasure, we never forget" so your engagement and motivation are fundamental. I think to be a very patient teacher, I try to create the best empathy with my students to learn a new language in a very relaxed way. I already taught english for beginners in a city course some years ago and I realized that I had no problems explaining and maybe repeating things to my students, I was very happy to see them learning step by step, fullfilling their language expectations, that was a very great result!

I graduated in Modern Languages, Culture and Translation (Spanish and English). I've had some experiences as teacher and as tutor, I've been a private english tutor for teenagers and, during my university years, thanks to a university association, I also had the opportunity to work in a Finnish High School in the Finnish Lapland for two months as Italian teacher. It was a great experience! I studied from zero (and I'm actually studying) also Russian and Finnish that are pretty different from the other languages I already knew before, so I know that it can be difficult and frustrating sometimes but it can be also really interesting and fun!

My lessons are quite relaxed. It has been described by my students to be like learning from a friend. I'm friendly, honest, and enthusiastic. I love learning and I love watching my students learn as well!

I have been teaching Italian to foreigners for many years now, both face to face and online. I obtained the second level of the DITALS, which is the certificate of competence in teaching Italian to foreigners issued by the University for Foreigners of Siena and I have been teaching since 2003. Initially in a private school, then on my own, and I worked with all levels , from the absolute beginner, who are people starting from scratch, to those who have a very high level and simply want to improve their communication skills. I was a speaker at two Polyglot Gatherings and presented some unconventional ideas about learning.

Teaching represents a way of sharing what we know and an opportunity to enrich one's knowledge and culture. I am patient, friendly and ready to meet your needs and requirements in learning the fantastic and amazing Italian language.

I'm here to help you learn Italian whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner. I have previous experience teaching Italian to adults in Germany, where I'm a teacher in the Volkhochschule system. In my lessons I like to teach the language, but also to help learners to understand my culture and the Italian way of life.

I guess I try to be a fairly caring and attentive teacher, that is I try to be the teacher I would like to meet. Mistakes' radar is ON.
