In November 2017 I obtained the certification "DITALS Level I" which qualifies me to teach Italian as a foreign language or second language to foreign adults (18 years and older) of any nationality and for any level you choose to reach. I attended a 30-hour training course at the Accademia Italiana in Salerno (a Ditals-certified institution) where I did an 82-hour internship in Italian classes for foreigners. Since then I have had many teaching experiences. In addition, with the onset of the pandemic, I did 80 hours of online teaching at a private school of Italian for foreigners to prepare for distance teaching, mainly via Zoom and Skype.

Faccio questo lavoro da due anni e vedere la gente che ogni volta avanza e arriva a raggiungere il suo obiettivo mi da tante soddisfazioni. Sono una persona molto rispettosa e cerco sempre di venire incontro alle esigenze delle persone che ho di fronte. Currently, I work in an English Private School in Turin and I teach both English and Italian to non-native speakers. I taught English to toddlers (0-3 years old) in a private nursery. In addition, during my MA degree I was a university tutor for international students who wanted to learn and improve their Italian language skills, and I helped Italian university students to improve their English skills. Finally, I managed English courses for teenagers in summer campuses, where I held a workshop in which students had to create a comic strip with them as protagonists with dialogues written in English.

La mia prima esperienza lavorativa è stata a Siena, dove ho vissuto durante gli anni della mia formazione, laureandomi in Mediazione linguistica e culturale e poi in Didattica dell'italiano a stranieri presso l'Università per Stranieri di Siena. A Siena ho insegnato nel contesto migratorio, dopodiché ho continuato ad insegnare in Germania, lavorando con adulti e bambini, e con studenti universitari in Polonia. Attualmente vivo e lavoro in Germania come insegnante d'italiano per studenti di tutte le età.

I started to teach italian more than three years ago to people of any nationality and age and I realised that is something that fills me up. I prefer to base the lessons on the conversation and on the practical application of grammar.

Our lessons are a space and time for you in which to take the risks of practicing and experimenting with the language you want to speak while receiving a kind and accurate feedback. . I make myself available for any doubts you might have between our lessons and I offer specific extra services to boost your learning process and tackle any difficulties you're facing in specific areas of the language (for example you can understand the language but you can't speak; sometimes the opposite can also occur).

I'll try to cater my lesson to each individual student so they are as interesting as possible because, how I could realize from my experience, is very important to be motivated to learn a language,like everything else. Another thing that I'll do is to teach you to be confident and not afraid to make mistake because it's so important for learning a language faster.

I’m very respectful, and love every culture. It’s important to satisfy your needs: it’s useless to give you tons of “jobs vocabulary” if you want to spend an holiday chilling in the sunny Italy. My different backgrounds help me today: my education in cinema, media studies and advertising helps me in “building” an effective message transmission.
