I like to be clear when I teach, I want to be sure that my students understand everything. Mi piace essere un'insegnante chiara, voglio essere sicura di fare capire tutto ai miei allievi.

I'm patient, approachable and proactive. My lessons are focused on speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, but I give mainly importance to conversation because I think the more you speak the more you feel comfortable speaking. I also know that motivation is essential to learn a language, so I have my students choose their topics of interest and fix their goals. In this regard, I had the good fortune of taking part in a seminar held by Anthony Mollica creator of "Recreational Linguistics" a method to acquire linguistic and cultural skills through word games and lexical combinations. It inspired me, so I will do my best to make your studying fun and easy!

I have taught Italian and Latin in public schools in Italy for about ten years. Currently I teach mainly Italian for foreigners, in particular for foreign managers who need professional/business Italian courses for their companies' activity. I can also offer specialized Italian courses for doctors and lawyers. I still remember my first Italian lesson: it was amazing, because I immediately understood that I loved what I was doing, and time passed in a blink of an eye! I always do my best for every student and when I see that my students, lesson after lesson, become able to speak their target language and that they follow the courses with pleasure, it makes me love this work more and more.

I am a certified teacher (I obtained the DITALS certification from the University for foreigners of Siena) and I have experience with one-to-one lessons both in presence and online, with adults of many nationalities and with teenagers and children. Before that I studied at the Liceo classico (studying Italian literature, Latin and ancient greek language and literature) and then I studied international law at the university of Milan.

Sono una persona molto simpatica e allegra e quindi sento di poter essere un tutor che insegna in allegria e con cui si può parlare di tutto dalle cose più banali ai temi più importanti oggi, di famiglia e di sport. In addition to having CAE (Cambridge Advanced English) and TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificates, I have been teaching English and Italian online since 2017 and have gained a great deal of experience. Moreover, I have experience teaching English here in Sicily privately and from time to time I work as a translator. Sono una grande appassionata di linguistica, perciò adoro la grammatica e tutto ciò che riguarda l'uso delle lingue, in particolare della lingua italiana. Sono molto curiosa e amo chiacchierare del più e del meno, ma anche di argomenti più impegnativi ed importanti. I am very curious and I love doing small talk, but I also like talking about more important and challenging topics.

My passion for languages comes from my interest in other cultures, from the desire to know the world and open my mind. I lived for a short period of my life in Dresden, Germany, to empower my German knowledge; i started to approach teaching there, because some students like me were interested in learning Italian, so they asked me to teach them something. Once back in Italy, i continued specializing in this teaching area.

I am a motivating person in every aspect of my life and I’m sure I’ll encourage you to improve your Italian. We can talk about any topic you are interested in and focus on specific challenges you are facing.

Sono un'insegnante qualificata per l'insegnamento della Lingua Italiana LS/L2 con una grande passione per i viaggi. Collaboro con alcune Accademie di lingua italiana dove insegno a stranieri con interessi, esigenze, livelli e lingue diverse e amo condividere le mie conoscenze con chi desidera apprendere la lingua e cultura italiana. Sono un insegnante molto attenta alla motivazione dello studente e se mi accorgo che qualcosa disturbo il processo naturale di apprendimento riesco ad eliminare la tensione e trasformo la difficoltà in sfida. Alla fine vince sempre lo studente.

Mi è sempre piaciuto trasmettere le conoscenze linguistiche in modo comprensibile, arricchendole con esempi e connessioni o con brevi incursioni anche su altri argomenti purché siano funzionali alla nozione. Lascio parlare l'interlocutore cercando di non interromperlo e aiutandolo solo quando necessario, raccogliendo annotazioni sulle eventuali correzioni da comunicare con calma alla fine della conversazione o della frase.
