Over the last years, I have been working with adult learners who are keen on exploring the Italian language and culture the smart way. I will be your reliable guide to learn and use Italian as a means to empower their lives and professions and to make the most out of the little time we have to learn in our busy lives. I have studied the Italian diction with an actress for one year and I can explain very well the differences in Northern, Souther and Central accents and even impersonate them!

Finding myself in a foreign country, I learned that the best way to improve a language is TALKING, without any fear. I follow a communicative, student-centered approach. To me, it's really important that you feel comfortable and free to express yourself in Italian, no matter which is your level. Your needs and interests are the focus on which I will tailor the lessons. If you have studied italian before, I will send you a test before our first lesson to assess your level and tailor lessons on what you need most.

I started teaching Italian as a foreign language in 2003, and I've been teaching online for about three years. I have a University Degree in Translation and a Ditals Certification. I love teaching and I truly enjoy helping my students.

I started teaching on italki in 2016 as a community tutor and I liked it so much I decided to study and get a certification to be able to teach more: I now offer professional lessons as well as informal tutoring and conversation practice. As a student of languages myself, I know that speaking the target language since the start is the way to progress faster. I also know that a relaxed atmosphere is vital to learn effectively, because our brains work much better when not under pressure... don't panick! If you really don't feel like speaking Italian right away, it's not a big deal: we can use English, French or Norwegian.
