I'm a certified Italian teacher for foreigners and I started with private lessons both online and in presence. So far, my students have expressed satisfaction about my lessons, because I'm flexible in my schedule and very focused on their goals. In my lessons, I follow an inductive methodology, which means that, as a guide in the learning process of the students, I help them to discover by themselves the rules that govern the various linguistic aspects. I think that this methodology is much more effective than other more traditional methods, since it allows better internalize what has been learned.

Ho una Laurea Triennale in Lettere Moderne e una Laurea Magistrale in Filologia Moderna. Sono un'insegnante di lingua e letteratura italiana presso le scuole superiori di primo e secondo grado. Attualmente vivo a Lecco, dove insegno anche italiano agli studenti stranieri e nel tempo libero do lezioni su Italki.

I have a degree in agronomy. I think everyone learns a new language for different needs and therefore the teaching will be different for each student. I talk a lot and I am very sociable, but above all I want the students to reach their goals of study and growth in the language, creating with me a real friendship.

Ho deciso di diventare Tutor per due ragioni: amo la lingua Italiana che è meravigliosa e perché capisco le difficoltà che si incontrano quando si inizia a studiare una lingua straniera. Sto studiando su Italki la lingua Francese e i miei progressi sono incredibili, parlare con qualcuno e’ davvero l’unico modo per imparare o perfezionare una lingua straniera.

I've been teaching for 2 years in a high school in the morning and some language schools in the afternoon. I also gave some private classes to students that needed to improve their school marks or were preparing for the Cambridge First Certificate. Due to the fact I love studying languages myself, I feel I have the tools to understand how different people learn, and that learning should be interesting and fun. It is for this reason that I welcome suggestions and requests from students to enable me to adapt every single class towards what the student wants.

I love to help other people to learn a new language, because I think that to be bilingual is one of the greatest thing you can do in your life! My motto is: you can't buy happiness, but you can learn languages and that's kind of the same thing!

After graduating, I attended various training courses and received two internationally recognized qualifications; the CEDILS certification and the “diploma DILIT”, which gave with a strong foundation in the theory and practical skills required for teaching Italian. I have given private Italian lessons to students of all levels, both offline and online; I have also worked and volunteered as an Italian teacher with an organisation that helps unaccompanied immigrant minors. I don't believe that one method fits all; everyone is different and so we will work out the best strategy for you, based on your goals, your personality and your current level of Italian.

Sono un insegnante empatica e comprensiva, capisco le difficoltà che si celano dietro il processo di apprendimento e per questo cerco di essere più chiara possibile. Mi piace confrontarmi con i miei studenti, avere conversazioni che spaziano dalle ricette per la pizza alla filosofia di Schopenhauer. I am certified as a teacher for foreigners at the Università per Stranieri di Siena (DITALS certificate) and I am graduated in Economics at University Bocconi in Milan, besides I have got the Advanced and Proficiency Certicates in English Language from Cambridge University and DALF from Ministère de l' Education nationale française. I tought Italian language abroad and in Italy too, at the Giovanni Pascoli High School in Piacenza. Then I taught and organized Summer Courses to foreign students for many years and I have been giving private lessons in my home.

Ciao a tutti! Mi chiamo Pier Paola e Insegno italiano agli stranieri (adulti e bambini) dal 2009. Ho vissuto e lavorato all'estero (Russia, Estonia e Australia).

I have over six years' experience teaching languages to children, teenagers, and adults of different backgrounds and nationalities. I have taught English and Italian in Italy, Australia, Germany, Macedonia, England, Slovakia and Spain on a one-to-one basis as well as in a group setting. I took my CELTA Certificate (Pass B) in 2016 at IH Milan. In 2018 I also completed the IH CYLT course that helped me develop my skills in teaching young leaners. I have been teaching on ITALKI since 2014 and it is the best job I have ever had. I have been teaching some of my students online since the very beginning. I have also met some of them in person, either in their own countries or in Italy.

I did maths and physics tutoring for high school students, while this will be my first experience as an Italian language tutor. However, I believe I will be able to do that since I am a native speaker and I have an excellent knowledge of grammar. I also have a good knowledge of English, gained at school and during periods spent abroad; for this reason I can also teach students who have difficulties in having a conversation in Italian.

Together we will try to find a method that best suits your needs. Each person is different and we learn in different ways, so it’s very important to be flexible. I will try to create a relaxed atmosphere where we can talk easily. I am a very patient girl, I will listen to you carefully and correct your mistakes, thus helping you improve your Italian.

I’m very respectful, and love every culture. It’s important to satisfy your needs: it’s useless to give you tons of “jobs vocabulary” if you want to spend an holiday chilling in the sunny Italy. My different backgrounds help me today: my education in cinema, media studies and advertising helps me in “building” an effective message transmission. Having worked in web design gives me IT and creative skills.Classical Studies (Latin and Greek) give me etymology and a 360 view on the language.

As a teacher, in the last 25 years of experience, I've come across many different students. I currently teach English in an English school here in Italy, that's the reason my availability was limitated in the last year. Each one of them has their own characteristics and learning capacities. I try to elaborate custom methods together with the student, in order to reach the best learning procedure to use, from schematizations to memory methods, linguistic assonance and much more. I think that each student has a great potential and that the best teacher is the teacher that is able to take this potential and make it grow!
