Hello and welcome! My name is Natalya. I’m from Ukraine. I am fluent in Russian and Ukrainian which are my mother tongues. I have been teaching English and German for about 20 years. I really love my work and try to do my best so that its results could please both me and my students.

Teaching makes me always smile, because I like so much accompanying students improving their German skills.

Teaching since 2016 I specialise in technical and general online language classes mainly for care personnel (nurses). I am highly experienced in using web based document annotation apps, communication and meeting platforms, virtual classrooms and Learning management systems. I hold a TELC examiner license for Deutsch B1-B2 +Pflege which also allows me insight and knowledge of test formats and the CEFR guidelines and level requirements. I can offer both general and intensive German classes from Beginners to advanced levels (up to C1/C2) including all 4 competency levels (Speaking, Listening, Writing and Reading) as well as grammar reviews, exam preparation and proofreading.

So I decided to share not only my passion for languages but also techniques for studying them, with optimism, passion, effective methods, and experience. Learning a new language takes time but it's not difficult.

Since I know learning languages can be hard sometimes I would be pleased to help you with your Germn. I have only little experience in teaching but I can offer converstional training and helping to improve your pronuncation. We can talk about any topic you like. I'm looking forward to get new information about different topics as well.

I studied Germanistic at the university in Kiev. Since 2010 I teach German and English and since 2016 Russian online. Some years ago I gained the experience teaching in private for max. 12 students. Lately I mostly give individual and also group lessons for max. 3 students online. I consider this way of teaching also efficient and meaningful.

As a teacher I aim to create a safe space for you, where you can be yourself and freely express your needs. The more you share your expectations with me, the more I'll be able to adapt myself and my teaching style to you. I'm patient, don't be ashamed to ask me to repeat and explain something, I'll do it as many times you need it. After all, your success is also mine, because it's a sign that I'm doing things right.

I teach German for beginners, intermediate and advanced learners. Whatever level you are, don't worry. My lessons are focused on conversation so that students have a chance to interact through verbal communication and participate in the learning of a new language. I want zou to have fun in our class. Let's talk about culture, society, sight seeing spots, etc. … what are your interests? NOTE: Kids are welcome! I am experienced with working with people of all ages. I enjoy working with students in groups and one-to-one sessions and love seeing them improve their german through my encouragement and tenacity. Fun is important and to create every lesson as unique as possible. I like to use role-plays and photocards in the lessons as that keeps the lessons exciting. Also, I use texts that are of interest to my students because I have improved my English grammar with reading. Most importantly it's the relaxed conversations in German I have with my students that improve my student's skills and gives them the confidence they need.

Ich denke, meine Aufgabe in dieser Welt ist die Lehre. Sprachen sind dabei ein Weg, zu globalem Wissen und zu einer besseren Welt beizutragen. Ich habe Deutsch, Englisch und Französisch in verschiedenen Ländern und Kontexten unterrichtet – privat, an der Universität und in einer Sprachschule. Ich bin froh, nun auf italki zu unterrichten. I think my purpose in this world is to teach. Languages are one of the channels to increase global knowledge and to contribute to a better world. I’ve been teaching German, French and English in different countries in different contexts, in private lessons, at University and in a language school. Now I am happily teaching online on italki.

Erfahrungen als Sprachlehrer habe ich bereits als Französisch- Nachhilfelehrer gesammelt. Ich denke, dass der eins zu eins Unterricht ideal ist um sich komplett auf deine Ziele, Bedürfnisse und deinen individuellen Lernforschritt einzulassen. Da ich selber auf iTalki spanisch lerne, weiß ich, dass eine gute Beziehung zwischen Lehrer und Schüler, die vorallem auf gegenseitigem Respekt, Geduld und viel Empathie beruht, unabdingbar ist.

Als community teacher möchte ich vor allem das Anwenden der Sprache üben. Ich möchte euch helfen, mehr Sicherheit beim Sprechen zu erlangen und eure sprachlichen Fähigkeiten sowie Kenntnisse zu verbessern. Das Ziel meiner Unterrichtsstunden ist, dass ihr mit Spaß eine neue Sprache erlernt und bereits vorhandenes Wissen vertieft.

I like to set my students thinking and to see how a learning process progresses. I have already worked with people of all ages and noticed that not everyone learns the same way. But what has helped everyone is patience, attention, and trust from the teacher. Since I myself wasn't very satisfied with how my teachers, back at my school days, were teaching, my aim is doing it better. Ho già lavorato con persone di tutte le età e ho notato che non tutti imparano allo stesso modo. Ma ciò che ha aiutato tutti è stata la pazienza, l'attenzione e la fiducia da parte dell'insegnante. Dato che non sono mai stato soddisfatto dei miei insegnanti a scuola, il mio obiettivo è farlo con più qualità.

I really like teaching, I've been doing it for 16 years. I'm fluent in Spanish and German as a mother language. I focus a lot on grammar and writing, but I also offer conversation classes.
