I have been teaching German since 2000, to refugees, asylum seekers and people who need German for their work visas. I have taught children as well as adults. I have work experience in teaching business German and public speaking. In my lessons, I use material and topics that the students prefer, because I think that we learn best when we deal with topics that we love to talk about. First I was a classroom teacher in a private training center, but later I found that teaching one-on-one is both, more efficient for students and also more interesting as a teacher. In a one-on-one lesson I can totally adapt to your language level and teach you the language that is important for you and the speed that you choose. As I've been interested in languages for quite some time, I learned Latin, English and French at school and proceeded with a BA in French linguistics and literature. After I finished my Bachelor's degree, I completed a postgraduate degree in Language, Translation and Literature. After this, I completed a German Teaching Course at the Goethe Institute. I have worked as a German teacher not only at many different private language schools like Inlingua, but also at the university, the Official German School and at an Examination Center of the Goethe Institute where I got the certificate as an official Goethe examiner.
