As a native German speaker and as a sophisticated English teacher with experience teaching at Universities in Thailand I'm offering you my help in learning German.

Language lessons can be fun, but language-learning is certainly time-consuming and occasionally frustrating. I am a native Hungarian speaker and a fully qualified English and German teacher with a Master’s degree. I have been teaching English and German for 15 years. I also have experience in teaching Hungarian to both German and English speakers.

My lessons are all about my students - I always put them and their goals first. I find it important to use different materials in order to motivate my students. I also offer Duo lessons for those who prefer to learn with a partner, a friend or a relative.

I'm very patient, so don't worry if you need more time to form sentences :) I'm an active language learner as well, so I understand the struggles that come with learning a language.

I have a university degree (Bachelor and Master) in teaching languages and I have been teaching German, English and Spanish for over 5 years to students of different ages. My oldest student was 80 and I think he is a good example that it is never too late to start learning a new language or enhancing your language skills and taking your language learning to the next level. I'm a very patient and empathetic teacher who thinks mistakes are an important part of the learning process and whose goal it is to create a comfortable learning atmosphere for you.

I have taught German and English in several different circumstances. During my early internships in China I organized basic German and business level English trainings. In the German Chamber of Commerce, I was also involved in editing a yearly bi-language training brochure for special trainings in Shanghai. But I also taught English and German for a year in kindergarten, where I focused on fun in acquiring a new language. In Germany I mainly taught German privately, mainly focusing on the Testdaf-exam but also the German high school-diploma Abitur. Occasionally, I also prepared students for the TOEFL-Exam.

I'm an entrepreneur based in Canada & I been tutouring kids & adults since I am 12. I specialize in intermediate & advanced german & english teaching. You can expect me to bring positive energy to the classroom. I will be a good listener in our class. During conversational lessons, I will ask you questions that make you think. For example, "What would you tell your 20-year-old self?" – maybe you will teach me something too:) If you are not interested in having high level conversations, I am not the right teacher for you. After our first class together, I will send you a Google doc with all of my favorite free English content from the net.

I tutor every student individually according to their goals and priorities. Whether you need to improve your writing, reading or communication skills we can tailor a strategy to reach your goals in the most effective way. Besides talking in German, I love to meet new people, learn about different lifestyles and cultures, travel, read, and most of all challenge me everyday.

I am currently learning my third language. I really do understand how hard it can be to learn a new language, let alone to master it. I am a very relaxed teacher, I know from experience that the most effective way of learning is by enjoying the process and having fun! I am also pretty flexible when it comes to teaching, depending on your level, need, interest or simply just that mood of that day.

It is very important to me that everyone enjoys my lessons. I believe it is very important to be relaxed and have fun while learning, so I make it a point to provide an environment that is free from stress and enjoyable. I really think, enjoying learning is already halfway to success. :-) I have already learned some languages as well and I am still learning more, so I really understand the difficulties of learning a new language, but I also have experience in how to overcome those as well. I am currently learning Chinese and I enjoy it very much.

In den Jahren 2015/16 habe ich eine zusätzliche Ausbildung zum Trainer für Deutsch als Fremd- bzw. Zweitsprache gemacht. Ich habe dann zuerst in Österreich Deutschkurse für Asylwerber abgehalten. Seit 2016 unterrichte ich zunehmend auch im Internet. In 2015/16 I completed additional education as a trainer for German as a foreign or second language. Then I first taught German for asylum seekers in Austria. Since 2016 I have been teaching more and more online.

My main focus with teaching is to give students confidence in speaking. My lessons are a safe place, where language can be explored as deeply as the students want. I love sharing cultural specifics, use texts as basis for discussions (in general but also in particular about new vocabulary and hard grammar) and tongue twisters for pronunciation. After the lesson the student should feel full and satisfied as if they just enjoyed a great meal. The new material needs to be digested, but already left a taste, so my students feel at bit of progress right away.

Ich denke, dass ich keine typische Lehrerin bin und daher macht mir mein Job bereits 16 Jahren Spaß. Meine Studenten sagen über mich, dass ich positive Ausstrahlung habe und dass sie mit mir Hemmungen beim Sprechen verlieren. Ich bin von Natur eine Person, die motivieren und unterstützen kann. Suchst du jemanden, der geduldig, positiv, offen und lustig ist, dann bist Du bei mir richtig. Ich spreche langsam und deutlich, helfe Dir mit allen Schwierigkeiten, Die du beim Deutschlernen haben könntest. Ich gebe Dir auch konkrete Tipps, wie Du auch alleine effektiv lernen kannst. In meinem Sprachtraining waren bereits viele Ärzte und Krankenschwestern, die B1 und B2 Zertifikate abgelegt haben.

First and foremost I am a learner who enjoys learning languages as a hobby. So I understand the frustrations and challenges faced by students when they try to mesh the theoretical aspects of acquisition with the realities of speaking practice. I have written a language course for those tackling German and my approach with beginners is to introduce new language in a very structured way and to prioritise patterns above vocabulary, at least at the start. For more advanced students I am happy to select materials based on their interests. I always try to put people at ease and believe that learning should be an enjoyable as well as enriching experience.

I have experience 4 plus years’ in teaching English and German.Besides helping with conversational skills and grammar I also help in preparation of various exams like Goethe examinations(A1 to C1) and with the preparations of IELTS and TOEFL. My lessons are very interactive and interesting and I prepare my lessons according to your requirement.I can share my notes with you or we can study together from a book. I can also help you with Business German,Business English and Medical English.

Overcoming difficulties and actually improving your German by actively using it will make you feel more comfortable and confident after a short while and will keep you going in the long run. For all topics I have easy-to-remember explanations (e.g. for the adjective endings), which you will get used to quickly. We will always come back to new subjects and words until you understand them and we will only proceed at your pace. Everything we discuss will be put down in different google docs (chat - contextualization - writing). We will be working on them together.
