I want you to improve your german! From my experience the best way to learn a language is to speak regularly! I want to help you to stop your anxiety and building up a confidence level to finally have fun while you are learning a new language and not to be afraid to try! I am a very friendly & patient human being. If you ever have a black out or you are making mistakes, no worries! People are making mistakes all the time & I am happy to help you out! If you have any wishes for our classes just tell me & we can figure something out!

I have previously taught German and English in China and Thailand and what I noticed there was that many students after some point reach a plateau where their vocabulary is not improving that much anymore because they are discussing the same topics again and again. So as a teacher I like to focus on expanding my students' vocabulary so they can reach the next level of language learning through conversation, whether this means going from basic to intermediate or intermediate to advanced. During my lessons I create a comfortable enviroment where you can really try things out without having to be afraid of making mistakes.

I have been a Teacher on italki for several years. Before that I studied languages at the University (English, Spanish, French). I have a certificate for teaching languages to adult learners, but my experience expands to helping younger students with their school subjects (History, Literature and foreign languages). I also helped students from all over the world (mostly doctors and software developers) with job applications in Germany. Heads up – I am a strict teacher! No slagging, no "I-can't's". Everyone can learn a language. I work with students who are motivated, who know why they learn and who really want to see results. This means intense practice during classes and homework. If you don't have time for homework, please let me know and we will find a solution together. >> For General lessons I normally use a textbook (or several textbooks) as the basis. We work with GoogleDocs, recordings, YouTube videos and other materials as necessary. >> Conversational Classes are free flow. >> During Interpreting/Translation classes we learn to make glossaries and work with videos, recordings, texts and speeches.

Language learning should be FUN! I want to help you feel RELAXED and not nervous when speaking German. Since I have many italki teachers myself, I know how important it is, to make the student speak. YES - YOU HAVE TO SPEAK! IN GERMAN! And I promise: It's not as hard as you think! Let's neglect the difficult grammar for a while and you will be surprised how soon you will be able to comunicate! Let me give you an example: What if I said: "Have he cat?" instead of "Does he have a cat?" - It's wrong, but totally understandable! -> So if you say "Er haben Katze?" instead of "Hat er eine Katze?" everybody will be able to understand you!

Während meines Studiums in Russland habe mehrmals Praktika in staatlichen Schulen und in einem Kinderferienlager absolviert. Nebenan habe ich einige Jahre in Sprachschulen und als Privatlehrerin gearbeitet. Ich habe viele Erfahrungen mit verschiedenen Altersgruppen gesammelt. Heute studiere ich an der LMU in München an der Fakultät für Sprach- und Literaturwissenschaften im Studiengang Deutsch als Fremdsprache, um meine Kenntnisse im Lehrbereich weiter zu vertiefen.

I've been teaching German for over 20 years. I support students traveling & studying abroad, business people, expatriates and people living in German-speaking countries . I teach at all levels, from beginner to advanced.

I am a very intuitive person and also very communicative. For me the essence of really mastering a language is showing in conversation and communication. That's why I focus on strengthening the confidence and comfort speaking the language the most. Of course I get into grammar, vocabulary and expression, but I take a playful approach with exercises and talking about your interests and areas you want to improve in. You can expect homework assignments and also individualized worksheets, if you wish. I'm very adaptable and bring fun into the learning process!

[English below] Ich bin extrem sprachbegeistert und diese Leidenschaft für Sprachen und insbesondere für das Deutsche möchte ich gerne im Unterricht vermitteln. Ich kann mich mit dir sehr gut identifizieren, weil ich selbst Deutsch lernen musste. Außerdem habe ich unterschiedliche Berufserfahrungen in Deutschland gemacht und ich habe hier studiert, das heißt ich kann dir helfen, unterschiedliche Ziele zu erreichen! I'm a truly passionate of languages (especially of German) and in my classes I love to transmit this passion. I can identify with you, cause I also had to learn German. Moreover I did several work and study experiences here, so I can help you with different goals!

When I was in high school I discovered my passion for helping my classmates with homework and then I decided to bring this to another level and offered tutoring in the following: Biology, Geography, English, French and German. Later when I finished my degree in foreign language correspondence (mainly translation and correspondence in German, English and French) I started traveling a lot and I got to know people from other countries. I have regularly given one on one classes in many different parts of the world where I have traveled to and lived in. It has always given me great pleasure seeing people improve their language skills.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: - I'm on holiday from 28 May till 08 June. - I work only with adults (18+). - Please first book a trial lesson or a single lesson, before you book a package. - Please follow Italki's rescheduling/cancellation terms. Both should be done at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise your class will be charged 100%. I have already gained a lot of teaching experience, I am very patient and accurate, I can explain well, and I love to challenge people. I support grammar especially on the levels A1, A2 and B1 with pictures. I usually give explanations in German, but I want to make sure that you understand me, which is why you can speak with me in Italian, English or Russian.

My main aim is it to pass on the spark for the joy of language learning to you. For myself, it has opened so many doors and I want to it to do the same to you. I am a very lighthearted, kind and caring teacher who is aware of your specific needs and it is also my own joy to see you learn and grow. ? I love creating meaningful and engaging media, so as my student you'll see lot's of that!

I'm a very flexible person, and will always prioritise what you want to work on the most. My main goal is to make this a great experience for you and to create a safe space for you to improve your skills, without being scared to make mistakes - because mistakes are only human!

Ich habe bereits während meiner eigenen Schulzeit Nachhilfe für jüngere Schüler/innen gegeben und gemerkt, dass mir das Lehren großen Spaß macht. Nach dem Abitur habe ich dann meinen BA in den Fächern Englisch und Geschichte an der Universität Hamburg gemacht. Was mir in der Schulzeit in meinem eigenen Englischunterricht an Sprachpraxis deutlich zu kurz gekommen ist, habe ich mir während meiner Studiumszeit durch Tandem-Partner und Sprachpraxis-Seminare, besonders aber auch durch mein Jahr in Neuseeland, in eigener Hand beigebracht. Dadurch und durch meine bisherigen Lehrerfahrungen geprägt, möchte ich meinen Unterricht individuell auf mein Tandem ausrichten.

I work as a freelance teacher for a chain of language schools which is represented in all of Central America. Here I was taught an entertaining and dynamic teaching method.

Mir ist wichtig, dass du wirklich etwas aus meinem Unterricht mitnimmst. Ich habe bereits Erfahrungen und habe Deutsch in Mexico unterrichtet. Zu meinen Talenten zählt, zu erkennen wo deine Stärken und Schwächen liegen, und woran wir arbeiten können. Auf kreative Weise werden wir Sprachgebrauch, Grammatik, Lektüre und alle Themen die dich interessieren durchgehen. Ich bin sehr organisiert und zielstrebig, also bereite ich genügend Material für dich vor, damit du so viel wie möglich lernst, und auch Spaß dran hast.

I see myself as a coach more than as a tutor or a teacher. This is because of my extensive experience, where I learned that language learners improve much better if they feel themselves in a secure setting, where they are not judged but counselled, where they can speak openly without limits about whatever crosses their minds. It’s in such a setting where creative and intuitive learning comes into play, which makes the process an enjoyable experience. And this is the point where language learning gets on a track where motivation never lacks, because learning is fun and satisfying. The study material I will send you during each lesson ensures you have enough activities for the week.

My lessons will be conversational for pupils with intermediate or advanced German skills (B1 - C1). My main goal is to teach you German in a fun way, where you aren't afraid of speaking and making mistakes. First we will set your goal, then I will help you to reach it. To actually speak a new language is problably the hardest part. Therefore I belief it's important to focus on topics you are interested in. I want to teach you how German is actually spoken, rather teaching you "textbook" German. Please note: I don't teach children or teens.

I have lots of experience in teaching all ages. I am very patient and friendly and want my student to feel comfortable and enjoy the time with me. A lesson without laughing is a failed lesson. Since I studied linguistics I understand and can teach grammar very well. Ich habe viel Erfahrung Menschen jeglichen Alters zu unterrichten und bin sehr geduldig und freundlich. Mir ist es sehr wichtig, dass sich mein Schüler wohl fühlt und wir beim Lernen Spaß haben! Durch meine Bildung bin ich in der Lage die deutsche und englische Grammatik zu unterrichten.
