I have studied some dozen or so languages to varying degrees, so I’m quite experienced with various methods of learning. I have also taught classes in university before, both language and otherwise.

As a passionate Language Teacher and Learner, I worked as a private tutor to teach my foreign friends and cliental Chinese, and at the same time teach my chinese friends German. I am a Person of communicativness and Curiosity , so I often encourage my students to keep practicing from the very beginning, and don't be afraid to make mistakes! And don't worry, it is very important for me as Language teacher to know the needs of my students so that I can do my best to assist you and help you accomplishing your learning successfully, in this sense im looking forward to help you and don't be hesitate to book a lesson and let us have great fun together :)

Teaching since 2016 I specialise in technical and general online language classes mainly for care personnel (nurses). I am highly experienced in using web based document annotation apps, communication and meeting platforms, virtual classrooms and Learning management systems. I hold a TELC examiner license for Deutsch B1-B2 +Pflege which also allows me insight and knowledge of test formats and the CEFR guidelines and level requirements. I can offer both general and intensive German classes from Beginners to advanced levels (up to C1/C2) including all 4 competency levels (Speaking, Listening, Writing and Reading) as well as grammar reviews, exam preparation and proofreading.

After a short period of time in Egypt I was asked by friends and other people if I am teaching german or if I would be able to do so. So I mostly gave (private) conversational lessons as a part time job (for around 3 years). I am currently not teaching beginners or children!

I create lessons tailored to your needs and guide you through the German language to achieve your goals. My experiences in Australia so far range from preparing for professional situations to pass international exams such as: - Goethe Institute - TestDaF I'm looking forward to our first trial lesson.

I can look back on over three years of online acrobatic coaching with students from all over the world and mainly teaching in English. I also had the pleasure to take care of Japanese Aikido teachers during their stay in Switzerland and help them as a translator. And I had several friends which I had the pleasure of teaching in one to one settings. This provided me many good insights and clues on how to use and teach foreign languages to other persons. And of course I am constantly learning myself as a student – so I know what it is like to attend a language lesson and what you need to have for a fun but also productive time.

I have helped many people learn languages and did it as a part-time job in my years of High School. Since I also did an exchange to the US, I am fully capable of speaking English as well which will help me translate it to international students from all over the world.

I experienced the benefits of speaking multiple languages myself. For this reason, I would love to help you to learn German. As a good listener, I love to build sustainable relationships with my students because I believe that trust and learning consistency – combined with personal enthusiasm – are essential to make progress when learning a new language. I recommend booking your lessons at least two weeks in advance to ensure you find an available slot for regular classes.

I am a very patient and encouraging person which is why I am trying to create a warm and inspiring learning atmosphere, where you as a student can feel comfortable and study German with me without any pressure. I try to provide you with a variety of vocabulary for different contexts and to mediate a feeling for intuitive speaking.

I will engage my young students with child appropriate fun game/songs/stories & short videos ( w/subtitles). I may also speak entirely in German. My goals are for the children to become excited about their lesson and enjoy their time without even noticing that they are studying and learning a foreign language! I am customizing the lesson to my student's needs, desires, goals & available timetable. The curriculum will be totally tailored to ensure the most successful outcome and will be adjusted according to the student's accomplishments and abilities. Erfahrungen als Sprachlehrer habe ich bereits als Französisch- Nachhilfelehrer gesammelt. Ich denke, dass der eins zu eins Unterricht ideal ist um sich komplett auf deine Ziele, Bedürfnisse und deinen individuellen Lernforschritt einzulassen. Da ich selber auf iTalki spanisch lerne, weiß ich, dass eine gute Beziehung zwischen Lehrer und Schüler, die vorallem auf gegenseitigem Respekt, Geduld und viel Empathie beruht, unabdingbar ist.

I have lots of fun discussing and explaining German words, phrases and sentence structure. I have been supporting language learners on Italki since January 2019. In the past I have lived in many countries. Whenever I am back home in Germany I go back to driving an abulance. My students appreaciate my slow and clear speech. I am very patient - I dont mind repeating myself over and over again :) Repetition is essential. I encourage students to make mistakes as they catalyse the learning process.

Thanks to my language studies in Italy, where I attended university, I understood how important it is to use the new language every day to make steady improvements and I also know how difficult it can be to learn it when you have a busy life. I worked as a freelance tutor for more than two decades and helped many students to achieve their goals. Everyone is different and while I have a nice toolbox of proven methods to help a student I will always adjust to my students and their needs. Language acquisition has many steps. We will need a good solid foundation before we can really build out our new language core.

I have previously taught German and English in China and Thailand and what I noticed there was that many students after some point reach a plateau where their vocabulary is not improving that much anymore because they are discussing the same topics again and again. So as a teacher I like to focus on expanding my students' vocabulary so they can reach the next level of language learning through conversation, whether this means going from basic to intermediate or intermediate to advanced. During my lessons I create a comfortable enviroment where you can really try things out without having to be afraid of making mistakes.

My particular area of expertise is in phonetics and phonology, so I can help you to master the difficult sounds of German so that you feel more confident when you are speaking. However, I can help you with any aspect of your German that you would like to improve, including preparing you to take formal examinations like the DSH, the TestDaF and the Goethe Institut exams.

Two years ago I started teaching on Italki and also gave extra lesson to high school students. From August 2017 until December 2018 I taught German and English in a language school in Ho Chi Minh City. The biggest city in Vietnam and gained a lot of experience in teaching in front of a class. During this time I realized one of the biggest challenges in learning a language. Self-confidence. Also the structure and way of teaching was not always efficient. In order to support the Vietnamese education system and especially the students, together with my Co-Founders we set up our own German language center in Vietnam. Currently we teach all levels and hope to inspire more young students!
