I taught English, German and Spanish in various circumstances. On the one hand as a private teacher who helps his clients achieve their individual language goals. On the other hand, as a volunteer for the local population, so that they can find through their new language skills a job in the tourism sector. Enseñé inglés, alemán y español en varias ocasiones. In my opinion the best way to learn a language is through speaking it. To improve your German I would let you talk all the time and note feedback in the meantime. If you have some specific wishes I can prepare a more structured session with a specific goal in mind. I'm able to talk about any topic. Should be easy to find a topic that interests you. I'm flexible, i.e. besides language teaching I can work with you on goals you are aiming towards. To name few: preparation for a job interview, negotiations or scenarios in business context.

Während meines Studiums in Russland habe mehrmals Praktika in staatlichen Schulen und in einem Kinderferienlager absolviert. Nebenan habe ich einige Jahre in Sprachschulen und als Privatlehrerin gearbeitet. Ich habe viele Erfahrungen mit verschiedenen Altersgruppen gesammelt. Heute studiere ich an der LMU in München an der Fakultät für Sprach- und Literaturwissenschaften im Studiengang Deutsch als Fremdsprache, um meine Kenntnisse im Lehrbereich weiter zu vertiefen.

I was working as a german and alphabetization teacher in Austria during 3 years, wih people of different origins, education,, adolecents and grown ups, slow- and quicklearners. So in general I m very used to different kinds of students and can easily adapt. I also gave private arabic lessons. Here in Costa Rica I teach Spanish to foreigners. no USE OF ITALKI CLASSROOM! I've been described as a chill, friendly and very supportive teacher by my students. I'm flexible and creative, and always try to find ways to make learning German fun and more effective for my students. After all, everyone is different in how they learn something best. As mentioned, I have taught German to elementary school kids and middle aged people. I have tutored native German speakers (in honing their writing skills) and foreigners learning German as secondary language since 2019. Speaking is the best way to learn a language, so my lessons usually center around having an actual conversation in German, but I will also give you grammar instructions and help you with pronunciation as and when necessary. If you struggle with any particular grammar topic, we can of course also dedicate a whole lesson to that. Generally I'm happy to adapt myself to your needs and preferences. While we talk, I make extensive notes in a google document, I write down new vocabulary with example sentences, grammar instructions, corrections, etc. You'll have access to this document during and after the classes.

I am open, flexible, approachable and I like to keep the lessons fun and engaging, and to help people talk without the fear of making mistakes. As soon as I hear you speak, I'll try to pinpoint your strengths and weaknesses and come up with the individualized approach that will help you with your specific language-learning goals and needs. I like to always use modern and engaging materials which enhance motivation for learning.

Language lessons can be fun, but language-learning is certainly time-consuming and occasionally frustrating. While my first travels I finally had a chance to really practice my English, what was (of course) totally different, as compared to being in class, even my English teacher was really good. My confidence in speaking a foreign language as well as my pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary increased incredibly. I lived about four years in India and a big part of my daily life there was to learn and live a language, where even the script isn't the latin one. My journey led me to discover my joy for teaching. As I know a lot about other languages and cultures I love to share my knowledge in a structured and fun way.

I have a university degree (Bachelor and Master) in teaching languages and I have been teaching German, English and Spanish for over 5 years to students of different ages.
