First of all, I will always help you to the best of my ability. I see myself as a conscientious teacher and want my students to do so too. Secondly, a German studying Korean, I know too well that learning a foreign language that is unrelated to your own mother tongue can be extremely rough, which is why I am very patient and calm when I teach. Speaking a foreign language can be really stressful, so let's take it easy.

You can expect an attentive teacher, who will carefully listen to you and provide you with helpful feedback and advice. All this feedback and new concepts/words/expressions learned I will write down for you in a Google Doc. I am always genuinely interested in my student's topics and therefore I know that we will find a common ground on which we can conduct our productive lessons. In general, I am a teacher who can talk about anything and use every moment as an example for teaching purposes. Last but not least you can expect a teacher with a high command of the German language and an ample repertoire of speech expressions.

Ich unterrichte seit 2015 Deutsch. Gern helfe ich auch dir, deine Ziele zu erreichen. Wir arbeiten mit Bildern, kurzen Texten und Aufgaben auf deinem Niveau. Natürlich kannst du auch eigene Materialien mitbringen - z.B. deine Texte. Oder wir unterhalten uns ganz entspannt :-). Ich freue mich auf jeden Fall schon dich kennen zu lernen. Ich habe einen Master in Sprachtechnologie und Fremdsprachendidaktik mit Schwerpunkt Deutsch als Fremdsprache. Seit 2015 unterrichte ich Deutsch für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene bis Niveau B2. Ich habe auch Erfahrung mit der Vorbereitung auf den "Deutschtest für Zuwanderer".

Da ich bereits in Kindheitstagen stets geschickt im Gebrauch mit meiner Muttersprache war und ich große Freude im Schreiben fand, empfahlen mir meine Lehrer wiederholt, nach Schulabschluss Deutschlehrer zu werden. Aus sportlichen Gründen entschied ich mich jedoch für einen anderen Studienweg. Hier in Viet Nam nun als Online-Tutor Studenten auf ihrem Weg zur Meisterung der deutschen Sprache zu begleiten, scheint mir die ideale Möglichkeit zu sein, dem Rat meiner Lehrer schlussendlich zu folgen. Der Gedanke, Menschen unabhängig ihrer Herkunft online unterrichten zu können, um Sie bei dem Erreichen ihrer Ziele zu unterstützen, bereitet mir jetzt schon Freude.

In September 2020 I started working as a science teacher at an international school, teaching children from the age of 8 to 12. After completing a 120 hour TEFL course, I also started working as a private English tutor for 5 to 12-year-old children. Since I started working as a teacher I realized how much I enjoy teaching and seeing my students make progress. So I decided to start teaching the language that I feel most comfortable with - German.

I became a teacher on italki to teach a rare and quite complicated language to all the people around the world who are interested in it and to those who have just fun to learn new things. I am a really relaxed person, pretty communicative and motivated so that I think a lesson with me is more fun than work and that's how I think it should be. For both sides. Teacher and student! A lot of fun with interesting conversations because I think you learn way faster if you do it with fun. I learned a foreign language and I know how hard it can be to step out of the comfort zone to start a conversation but you don't need to worry. I will lead you through the lesson in an comfortable way ;)

As I've been interested in languages for quite some time, I learned Latin, English and French at school and proceeded with a BA in French linguistics and literature. While completing my undergraduate, I started giving private tutoring lessons in English, French and German and noticed how much I enjoy teaching languages. After graduating I lived in the French speaking part of Switzerland where I also worked as a language assistant for German.

I have been teaching on Italki for almost four years now. I can look back on teaching people from dozens of countries around the world. Young, old, children, teenagers, business people, students - people from all kinds of cultures and with unique expectations. Additionally, I had been a student myself on Italki for about another two years before. I know how it feels like to attend your first lesson ever and what you need to have a fun, enjoyable and worthwhile lesson. Anyone is welcome and I would love to be your German teacher, too.

When I was in high school I discovered my passion for helping my classmates with homework and then I decided to bring this to another level and offered tutoring in the following: Biology, Geography, English, French and German. Later when I finished my degree in foreign language correspondence (mainly translation and correspondence in German, English and French) I started traveling a lot and I got to know people from other countries. I have regularly given one on one classes in many different parts of the world where I have traveled to and lived in. It has always given me great pleasure seeing people improve their language skills.

My main aim is it to pass on the spark for the joy of language learning to you. For myself, it has opened so many doors and I want to it to do the same to you. I am a very lighthearted, kind and caring teacher who is aware of your specific needs and it is also my own joy to see you learn and grow. ? It is very helpful to understand German grammar well, but it is the practical application of the rules that really leads to swift and lasting progress. My lessons are therefore designed around getting you to speak, read and write asap. I will help you to understand the HOWs and WHYs of German grammar in ways that are practical and will make you a more confident user of the language. We will also make sure you are using the language well, not just correctly. Beauty and formal quality matter a lot. If done in this way, learning German needn't be as difficult as you may imagine or have experienced in the past. It can – and should – be a luxury that you are motivated to indulge in frequently.

Hello and welcome! My name is Natalya. I’m from Ukraine. I am fluent in Russian and Ukrainian which are my mother tongues. I have been teaching English and German for about 20 years. I really love my work and try to do my best so that its results could please both me and my students.

I teach German to all levels and also prepare medical professionals for the Fachsprachprüfung. There are many useful tips and case examples used in the medical language exam (FSP) which I can help you with. You will learn how to write a doctor's letter in a professional way and how to avoid beginner's mistakes. I can help native German doctors as well, which I already have as a part of my work at hospitals. We will practice how to deal with the most common questions of patients and how to communicate empathetically. We can practise with realistic case examples and note case anamnesis together, along with feedback in case you forget a question you have to necessarily ask.

I'll do what I can to encourage you in your language learning journey. I am patient, open for your feedback and suggestions and will adapt to your interests and your learning goals. Mein Unterricht ist zielorientiert und strukturiert und mir ist es sehr wichtig, die Inhalte genau auf die Wünsche der Schüler*innen abzustimmen. Ich achte darauf, meinen Teilnehmer*innen die Zeit zu geben, die sie brauchen und den Unterricht mit Humor und Kreativität zu gestalten. Gleichzeitig liegt mein Fokus darauf, die deutsche Sprache mit Präzision und Klarheit zu vermitteln. My lessons are goal-oriented and have a clear structure. It is very important to me to tailor the content to the students´ wishes. I make sure to give my students the time they need and I also use humor and creativity to activate learning. At the same time, I take great care to communicate clearly and concisely.

My work as a teacher includes teaching groups, kids and private students and preparing them for exams from beginners to B2. Some of my students want to improve their skills in order to study in Germany or a German-speaking country. Others need to improve their language skills because of their work in a corporate environment. My classes focus on language skills, such as fluency for professional and private settings, preparing for job interviews or presentations, and dealing with all kind of real-life situations the students may face.

Learning is all about the student, not the teacher. It's an individual, active process of acquiring knowledge and applying it. My role as a teacher is to be a guide and facilitator in this process.
