so far i tought german, and spanish every once in a while when it was needed from friends or friends of them. i also give reading lessons in german. And i like it a lot. i am a very empathic and patient person, and i like to create a comfortable space where one does not feel the pressure of having to achieve anything for my sake. but to be shure one knows what he/she can achieve for themselves. to widen his or her range of talking, writing and understanding german. and i think the best way is to simply practice it.

I have experience 4 plus years’ in teaching English and German.Besides helping with conversational skills and grammar I also help in preparation of various exams like Goethe examinations(A1 to C1) and with the preparations of IELTS and TOEFL. My lessons are very interactive and interesting and I prepare my lessons according to your requirement.I can share my notes with you or we can study together from a book. As I am from northern Germany, I have a big advantage over other German teachers. I speak "Hochdeutsch", which is a dialect and accent free version of German. Everybody will be able to understand you and you will be capable of understanding everyone, when you learn with me. Especially in the south and east people have strong dialects, which are not very easy to understand, even for natives. As I am becoming a teacher myself and am studying this subject at the university, I know what is important and what is not, in order to learn German fluently.

Nach dem Abitur habe ich dann meinen BA in den Fächern Englisch und Geschichte an der Universität Hamburg gemacht. Was mir in der Schulzeit in meinem eigenen Englischunterricht an Sprachpraxis deutlich zu kurz gekommen ist, habe ich mir während meiner Studiumszeit durch Tandem-Partner und Sprachpraxis-Seminare, besonders aber auch durch mein Jahr in Neuseeland, in eigener Hand beigebracht. Dadurch und durch meine bisherigen Lehrerfahrungen geprägt, möchte ich meinen Unterricht individuell auf mein Tandem ausrichten.

Well, I came to the idea to try myself in iTalki, because I'd like to share my experience coming from zero to fluent in a short time. I do appreciate grammar and standard lessons that i had to pass through as well, but what really made me confident about my German was just many hours of talking with people.

Aktuell studiere ich im Master in Cluj-Napoca in Rumänien. Seit ich vor drei Jahren nach Rumänien gezogen bin und angefangen habe die rumänische Sprache zu erlernernen, bin ich begeistert vom Sprachen lernen. Hier habe ich angefangen Schülern und Studenten Nachhilfe in Deutsch anzubieten und Ihnen somit geholfen ihre Sprachkenntnisse zu verbessern. Auch bevor ich nach Rumänien gezogen bin, durfte ich erste Erfahrungen machen, indem ich in einer sozialen Einrichtung für Geflüchtete Freiwilligenarbeit geleistet habe und dort im Unterricht assistieren durfte.

Ich habe Erfahrung im Unterrichten von Deutsch, da ich etwa 5 Jahre ehrenamtlich - das heißt freiwillig - als Deutschtutorin in einem Deutschkurs für Asylbewerber gearbeitet habe. Außerdem hilft es mir, dass ich selbst verschiedene Sprachen gelernt habe. Mein Mann lernt gerade Deutsch - ich bin daran gewöhnt über die deutsche Sprache nachzudenken. It also helps that I have learned different languages myself. My husband is learning German right now - thus I'm used to think about the German language.

Learning languages should be fun and for me the best way to improve is to have a real life conversation about topics you like. I believe in positive encouragement rather than strict learning methods! If you enjoy doing something, the result will be good. As a teacher, I take the time to listen to you and to help you with new words. I am calm, patient and very friendly. I try to make the talking as real and relevant as possible.

My goal is to break the ice and try to get you comfortable speaking german. Mistakes are welcome ! It is not about how perfect somebody can speak a language, the goal is to be able to communicate with people. I want to find out which topics are interessting and fun for you, as I believe that you only stick with learning a langauge if you are having fun learning it.

I have lots of experience in teaching all ages. I am very patient and friendly and want my student to feel comfortable and enjoy the time with me. A lesson without laughing is a failed lesson. Ich bin positiv gestimmt und habe Geduld mit den Schülern, da ich den Lernprozess einer Sprache (meist 1 bis 2 Jahre bis ich mich gut verständigen konnte) selber kenne. Ich kann Sachverhalte und grammatikalische Schwierigkeiten gut erklären und mache auch mal gerne Scherze. I'm a patient guy, knowing how long it takes to master a language. I can explain grammar topics in an easy way and like to joke around as well.

I have been teaching Italian, German and Swiss German as Foreign Languages to all public, to children aged 7 to 12, to teenagers, and to adults. I've been teaching various courses in other areas. Ich habe einen Strukturierten Lehrplan und achte darauf, dass meine Schüler trotzdem Spaß am Unterricht haben. Außerdem spreche ich unter anderem gern über Gott und die Bibel :)
