I will engage my young students with child appropriate fun game/songs/stories & short videos ( w/subtitles). I may also speak entirely in German. My goals are for the children to become excited about their lesson and enjoy their time without even noticing that they are studying and learning a foreign language! I am customizing the lesson to my student's needs, desires, goals & available timetable. The curriculum will be totally tailored to ensure the most successful outcome and will be adjusted according to the student's accomplishments and abilities. I will gently guide/assist & patiently correct. So, let’s start with this exciting & fun adventure into a new language and culture!!

When I was a student, I was tutoring a lot of adults and children. In 2017 I passed my state exam for being a French and Spanish teacher at high school. Currently I’m working as a language teacher at a secondary school but I also worked as a language teacher for adults.

I like to build long-term relations with my students (some students stay with me for years, which I consider to be the best proof of their satisfaction). However, I also prepare for language exams (which is usually unfortunately shorter cooperation yet also a fruitful one). I also teach kids (I have the most experience with 10+).

In September 2020 I started working as a science teacher at an international school, teaching children from the age of 8 to 12. After completing a 120 hour TEFL course, I also started working as a private English tutor for 5 to 12-year-old children. Since I started working as a teacher I realized how much I enjoy teaching and seeing my students make progress. So I decided to start teaching the language that I feel most comfortable with - German.

Hi there! I’ve been teaching Arabic to non-native speakers for 20+ years. I hold a BA in Pedagogy (German Studies) and I’m a certified teacher of Arabic as a foreign language. Regardless of your level, I can tailor-make a course to suit your needs!

I discovered my passion for teaching not by teaching languages but by teaching new concepts. Working as a Scuba Diving Instructor put me in the position of having to teach more complex ideas to students often unfamiliar with them. From there, I became inspired to teach in a more traditional classroom setting. After completing a 120-hour TEFL course, I gained some classroom experience teaching English in a primary school. During this time, I learned a lot about how to engage with students and react to their individual needs.

You will quickly notice how much I love my job: I smile a lot! As a teacher for Elementary, Secondary and adult students, I am always ensuring a friendly, supporting learning atmosphere. My teaching super power is preparing students for language tests in a smooth and effective way, because my teaching style follows a very focused and intentional approach. I help my students to find their learning type and to develop strategies to reach their individual goal. As I have worked and lived in German-, French-, and English-speaking countries for longer periods of time, I am linguistically flexible and highly skilled. I love to communicate and building a relationship of trust with my students.

I also have been teaching german and spanish for more than 5 years. That´s why, I know quite well, what the best strategy is, if you want to learn a new language in a fast and easy way. Although I have a career in biology, I really love teaching languages and I have to say that, it´s something that has taught me a lot in return.

I want you to improve your german! From my experience the best way to learn a language is to speak regularly! I want to help you to stop your anxiety and building up a confidence level to finally have fun while you are learning a new language and not to be afraid to try! I've been tutoring for over 7 years now ever since I was a high school student myself. First, I was doing private tutoring in English, German, French, Maths and Sciences. Then, after finishing my BA in English and American Studies and Business Studies in 2017 and completing my CELTA, I moved to Brighton (England) for one year to work as an English teacher at a language school. Now I'm back in Germany to finish my Masters in Linguistics and learn as much as I can about languages and culture.

I hold a German as a Foreign language teaching certificate from the Goethe Institute and was teaching healthcare professionals at the Goethe Institute in Hanoi. My students appreciated my positive and friendly attitude that always kept them motivated. Formerly, I worked as the editor-in-chief of a customer magazine for a German medical engineering company. With this knowledge, I teach German courses for healthcare professionals such as nurses, caregivers, and doctors.

I started teaching in schools around Asia during my trips. I'm so happy to see people improving their language skills. I believe that one of the main purposes of learning a language is to be able to communicate with others and also learn about the culture. My teaching style is flexible depends on your goals. But I focus mainly on communication with some grammar exercises. Thats my kind of teaching.

Als Lehrkraft habe ich an verschiedenen Stellen wertvolle Erfahrungen gesammelt: ich habe ein Praktikum an der Deutschen Schule in Oslo absolviert, habe in Deutschland mit jungen Menschen gearbeitet, die Deutsch als Fremdsprache lernten und als Privattutorin Englisch in Kambodscha unterrichtet. Als Lehrkraft möchte ich stets die Perspektive der Lernenden einbeziehen, da ich selbst weiß wie wichtig es ist, einen geduldigen Lehrer zu haben, der gut zuhören kann und sich der Lerngeschwindigkeit anpasst.

I believe learning should be fun. I´m not a professional teacher but over the years I got quite a few opportunities to teach German and English for fun (sometimes, in Myanmar, for example, also for cookies...) and every single time it was a very special experience. Teaching since 2016 I specialise in technical and general online language classes mainly for care personnel (nurses). I am highly experienced in using web based document annotation apps, communication and meeting platforms, virtual classrooms and Learning management systems. I hold a TELC examiner license for Deutsch B1-B2 +Pflege which also allows me insight and knowledge of test formats and the CEFR guidelines and level requirements. I can offer both general and intensive German classes from Beginners to advanced levels (up to C1/C2) including all 4 competency levels (Speaking, Listening, Writing and Reading) as well as grammar reviews, exam preparation and proofreading.
