I can do all the things you expect a teacher to do, but I see myself as a mirror: your improvement and progress is entirely up to ~ you ~ how enthusiastic you are about the language you study ~ and your motivations. In our conversations, the environment is always a welcome one. Make mistakes. Take your time, express yourself freely. After all, most of the interaction with a tutor is never about the subject you learn, but about the connection you have and how comfortable you feel. I have learned English from scratch when I was 7 and throughout the 5-years I lived in England. I practiced English amongst the native British and tried to gain dominance on the language since 2002. Hello everyone, I am a CELTA certified, university graduate English teacher. I have 5 years of extensive experience teaching both children and adults, both in Turkey and abroad. I have a quiet and entertaining environment dedicated to my online classroom. I use props, pictures, songs and videos while teaching English. I focus on test teach test method where students previous knowledge is tested, usually in a role-play or discussion before the teaching starts.

As I’ve studied Korean for over seven years, I also know how it feels to be the student. It can be intimidating, even overwhelming. Because of this, I’ve developed tips and tricks that help any language learner feel more comfortable and confident. Please help me help you! If you provide me with a topic or area of interest in advance, I’ll focus our lesson time on that. Please also let me know if there is a particular phrase, grammar structure, or situation in English that you find difficult so that I can develop sample sentences and activities for our lesson time. If requests and details are not provided at least 24 hours in advance of our lesson, I cannot guarantee full preparation.

My priority is to help you improve your communication skills. I will make sure you learn the 3 languages I am fluent in, i.e. English, French, and Arabic. It is worth noting that learning a new language is also about discovering new cultures and exploring new horizons. I teach from my office, where I have high-speed wifi, HD camera, whiteboard, marker pens, flashcards, and many other teaching materials.

In our lessons, My aim is for you to talk for around 70% of the time, and me for 30% of the time. This is the best way to learn a new language, according to science! It's important for me to give fun, as well as productive lessons. To do this, the lessons start with a short 'free conversation' for 5-10 minutes to check your English when talking about daily life. Then, a 'warm-up game' for 5-10 minutes, which usually focus on 'collocations' - which are crucial to speaking English more naturally. After that, we will move on to the main part of the lesson, whether that be more structured conversation practice, reading and discussing articles, test preparation, or working with a textbook.
