I am a creative and modern teacher. I take time to get to know each of my students, your culture, your learning style, and what's important to you. When you buy a package, I am able to build upon each lesson through review, follow-up questions, and really getting to know you. In addition to class time, I spend a lot of creating lesson plans, grading homework, researching, and developing new skills, material, and content. I recommend that students schedule 2-3 lessons per week (plus plan on additional time working independently outside of class) to achieve the best results. Book lessons in advance if you need a specific time slot.

I take a calm and relaxed approach because I want you to feel comfortable and you will get the most out of the lessons if you are feeling relaxed. I'd like to find out about hobbies and interests as well as your specific goals so that the lessons are as interesting and relevant to you as they can be. It's important for me to get to know your preferences, for example whether you want me to give you feedback continually and correct any mistakes you make at the time, or if you prefer me to give more general feedback at the end of the lesson. Good communication with you is a priority for me and I will always welcome your questions and suggestions!

I'm very patient as I know what learning a new language is like. What I want, is that you feel free to make mistakes while you practice so we can learn from them and improve on those areas. I found that if you are not making mistakes when learning a new language, you are not actually learning.

I moved to South Korea over a year ago and started teaching English to students of all ages. I have tutored and taught in academies while I've been here. It's always exciting to meet new students, as they all have different personalities. I have spent many hours assisting medical students in preparation for their USMLE Step 2 exam. My teaching experience began as an assistant in a Daycare. I was teaching 2 & 3 year olds and it was fun! That was the turning point for me. I've always recognized the impact a teacher could have on a student because of how my teachers inspired me. But in that daycare, it was the students that had an impact on me as a teacher! I started my career as a private tutor and then taught English to teenagers at a private language school while working on my master’s. I then realized that I’d love to teach Russian as a foreign language too so I signed up for a special course at my alma mater. Then I taught English and Russian at a university and I also have experience of teaching corporate clients. At the moment I’m working at a language training centre and as a private teacher.
