I am patient and understanding. I know that learning a new language or even perfecting a language can be difficult. I want to help you establish a reasonable goal and give you the self-confidence and skills to achieve this goal. Even if you are fluent in English, it is important to keep up with your skills by using it. I know this from personal experience. I can help you prepare for school or job interviews, small conversations to big conversations, and IELTS. I use a lot of different resources to help accommodate you and make the lesson easier. I have been teaching English in Asia, mostly Hong Kong, for over 12 years. I've taught all skill levels, and all ages from 4 years up, for a variety of purposes - General, Business, Exam preparation (IELTS, etc.), often in experiential (relevant, real-world) settings to enhance effectiveness of a holistic language teaching method. Not only have I taught hundreds (if not thousands) of students, I've also managed/worked with/trained other English teachers, so I have a wide-range of techniques for teaching, and understanding student difficulties.

I have been learning English for 14 years now. I often use it in daily life and on my travels, and I recently decided to have a go at teaching it. I'm a very passionate and caring teacher. I've had the chance to teach students from different levels, ages and nationalities. I started teaching as part of my university degree, which resulted in me becoming a qualified English teacher in the Netherlands. During my first three years in China I taught at an International school in the south of China, and then at a training school, High school and IELTS training center in the north of China. Since 2014 I have been teaching English at a University, where I primarily teach English majors. Whilst being experienced at teaching at all levels. I have a preference for teaching older students and adults. I have a passion for ensuring the correct use of vocabulary and pronunciation to ensure a greater sense of accuracy and fluency when communicating in English.
