My professional life has always oscillated around working with people. My career and academic choices were fueled by my fascination with human psychology. Thus, while working with people I have always striven for comprehension of human behaviour and the motivational factors behind their decision-making. I like to focus on conversation, pronunciation, and intonation. I also teach grammar and practical, functional phrases that will help you to speak confidently in everyday life situations. I will make my sessions interesting and engaging. I will first assess your level and then offer you highly customized language sessions so that you can talk about the topics of your choice. So, if you are interested in, for example, history, politics, arts, science, cooking, music or cinema, we can discuss whatever it is that interests you. I am knowledgeable in a whole range of subjects and will cater to your personal interests.

Teaching has always been something I loved. I have spent many years voluntarily teaching both large audiences and on a one on one basis. Helping ones in the community to improve their family life and make other positive changes in their lives. I have seen the joy that comes to both the teacher and the student when good instruction is applied. I am TESOL certified and have started on a journey to help as many as I can to learn English. I believe it is important to learn another language. I am excited to have an opportunity to help students to learn a language that can help them in many areas of life.

I structure all my lessons effectively so the student can make real progress. Tengo experiencia como profesora de inglés y español como segunda lengua en el departamento de lenguas extranjeras en la UABCS, impartiendo clases a estudiantes de todas las edades. I am a Persian native speaker with a university degree in translation studies, and some previous experience in tutoring Persian as well as English. I started teaching in language schools in 2014. I've been teaching Portuguese and English private lessons since 2015 with a personalized approach. Internationally certificated as a professional teacher with Premier TEFL, in 2017. Experienced with children, teenagers, and adults of all language levels.

I first taught English in 1993 in Moldova to secondary school pupils and adults. I then taught in Yaroslavl, in Russia, again to secondary school pupils and adults. More recently, I spent 3 years in Cyprus and spent some of my time as a volunteer teacher at a refugee reception centre.

My first teaching experience (2010) was as a French volunteer in Morocco. 2010 was also the year I started studying at the university of Ghent, Belgium. During my Bachelor's, I went to study at the university of Córdoba, Spain, to improve my Spanish to a C2-level. In July 2015, I obtained my Master in Communication in French, Spanish, Dutch and English and I participated in language camps as a French teacher. In October 2017, I started my travels, began to give private classes, volunteered as an English professor and obtained my TEFL-certificate (2018). In June 2018, I officially became a professional teacher on italki and in January 2021, I obtained my ELE (Español como Lengua Extranjera).

I’ve been studying languages my entire adult life and most of that has been self-study, so I know how challenging it can be to dive into a new language. I’m TESOL certified and have a Masters in Education in Teaching English Learners. I am comfortable working with all ages and all levels, from beginning to advanced to professional. I am a TEFL qualified teacher who has experience within language school's teaching classes to children under 16 and private lessons with Adult learners. In my current full time job, I work in pension administration, but I also teach English online in my free time. I have taught English online part time for over a year on other platforms, but I am new to Italki.
