After obtaining TEFL Certification from the Language Institute at Chiang Mai University I taught classes at Pro Language Chiang Mai in 2008. I remained there until returning home from Thailand in February of 2009. Since then I have done private English tutoring in Thailand, Mexico, and United States.

I am a professional teacher, TESOL certified. I teach IELTS, TOELF and CELPIP. I studied linguistics and phonetics when I was studying for my TESOL teaching certificate at York University. In our classes we will explore topics and language functions which are interesting and useful to you, and I will use a lexical approach to teach you new language by focusing on its meaning. I will help you practice listening and reading strategies to allow you to communicate about any topic, whatever your current level of English. I'm very passionate about my own learning, and I am interested in how learning is changing in the 21st century. It is important to learn how to study effectively by yourself, so as your teacher I will coach you to become a better learner and I will provide you with useful resources, websites and apps to help you study more efficiently.

I am a TEFL Certified English Teacher. I specialize in young children beginners. I keep my lessons fun and engaging for my students. I also do conversational lessons for adults. Confidence building, pronunciation perfection, vocabulary, fluency, and more. I teach phonics to young kids which helps them to correct pronunciation and confidence. My accent is British Neutral and I can teach American accent or British accent if you have a preference.
