My lessons are focused on building your skills in all areas of language learning: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. During the lesson, we will work on speaking and listening through role-playing activities ("scheduling a meeting", "ordering a pizza"), speaking tasks (job interviews, introducing yourself), and conversations about topics that interest you. News articles, homework, and other authentic materials are provided to help increase your vocabulary and fluency. All classes are conducted on Zoom.

I have been teaching English and Vietnamese for 2 years. I love teaching languages individually because I can clearly see my students' improvement, which is my core motivation.

As a teacher, I'm very adaptable. I have experience teaching all ages, from age 4 to age 70. I am a father, so I have developed a lot of patience with teaching children. I have also taught literacy to elderly people, and business English in a classroom setting, and conversation lessons. For you, I will use appropriate materials to help you on your way to express yourself in English in whatever settings you need. There are so many wonderful tools available these days, and I can help you find and use them. In my language-learning journey, I have benefited tremendously from learning to sing songs in foreign languages (French and Spanish). I'd love to sing with you.

I'm very patient as I know what learning a new language is like. What I want, is that you feel free to make mistakes while you practice so we can learn from them and improve on those areas. I found that if you are not making mistakes when learning a new language, you are not actually learning.

I first started teaching in 2012, spending eight months in France teaching English through theater performances with the educational company E.I.T.C. I relocated to Malta in 2014, where I worked at the Elanguest English Language School, as well as with the Performing Arts School, Stagecoach. In 2017 I moved to Vietnam, where I taught English to students of all ages and levels. I consider myself to be a patient, friendly, and relaxed teacher, who is capable of adapting the class to the needs of the student.

I have been teaching on Italki for almost four years now. I can look back on teaching people from dozens of countries around the world. Young, old, children, teenagers, business people, students - people from all kinds of cultures and with unique expectations. Additionally, I had been a student myself on Italki for about another two years before. I know how it feels like to attend your first lesson ever and what you need to have a fun, enjoyable and worthwhile lesson. Anyone is welcome and I would love to be your German teacher, too.

I like to make the process of learning things as easy as possible. Seeing my students improvement gives me joy, so I like to make sure that they understand the lesson. I'm patient and will adjust my teaching method to my student's way of learning in order to gain the best results.

I make liberal use of online materials, and I like englishclub.com, ABC Radio National, TED Wolfram Coursera EDX, and recently linguapress.com. My sessions are particularly free and subject to your wishes, needs and goals. I am equally happy to chit-chat, or address deep and troubling issues, to delve into science grammar technology. There is no set agenda, but I expect us to set up a basis for the coming sessions. Intermediate to advanced students only please.

I have a degree from the University of Oxford in English Literature, as well as a Pass 'A' CELTA certificate from International House. I am currently a full-time writer and teacher who has been teaching English for over 12 years. I have the knowledge and experience and teaching proficiency necessary to ensure that you achieve your goals. I have worked for over 3 years as an English tutor and bring a high level of experience in communicating, from having trained for 4 years as a professional actress. This training requires in-depth techniques and understanding of the complex ways in which we communicate. I have studied at degree level in three different subjects and use all of the skills I have gained to bring the best possible quality to my work as a tutor.

As a teacher, my goal will be to make all the process easier for you. Lets face it - Russian is not easy. I understand a language as a system, so you just need to understand the logic of this system and then practice it. We'll do lots of exercises and of course practice lots of SPEAKING. Also during our lessons I'm trying to reach the best balance between grammar, vocabulary, and reading. It can both formal and informal lessons. ! Cancelation policy! I became a teacher to share my passion for languages with the world. I want everyone to realise how much fun you can have learning a new language. It is easier than you think. Positive reinforcement and feedback is applied thus motivating the students and maintaining their interest.

I use various topics to encourage conversation. The more you speak, the more confident you will become. I will correct your grammar and teach you new vocabulary to help you sound more like a native speaker.
