Hello, my name is Zac. I'm a French/ British dual national. After a year abroad and getting my TEFL in Tulum, Mexico with Global Vision International in 2008, I graduated in 2010 in Rennes (France) with a major in English literature and civilisation. I moved to Thailand in September 2010 as a volunteer for GVI, teaching children during the day and adults for evening classes. I worked with GVI for 5 months and then taught at a local primary school for 5 years. I was also doing a lot of English camps with large groups of kids very frequently. I left teaching for a while to open a homestay in Thailand and got to meet people from all over the world.

I want students to enjoy learning. It has to be something in which they are willing to participate. I try to make most of my classes as entertaining as I can by finding topics in which the students will find an interest. Once the content is interesting, then the form (the structure, the vocabulary, the idioms etc.) will come more and more naturally and intuitively. I am very open minded and try to put myself in the students' shoes as much as possible and, as a learner myself, I can relate to the needs and obstacles someone might face in the process of learning.

دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي

I don't prepare for tests! Most of my teaching experience has been with beginners and intermediate level students. I like to make my students improve their conversational skills by doing a lot of listening and speaking before having to do a lot of reading and writing. However I'm very flexible and for those who need a bit more structure, I can help them with grammar, conjugation and vocabulary as well. I believe there are two main keys to learning English successfully which are: - a lot of practice - confidence in speaking (not being afraid to make mistakes!)
