Hello! I’m Yewon Choi, a native Korean speaker who was born and raised in Korea. I major in English. I became interested in languages by teaching Korean to foreign friends through home-stay. I have studied Chinese and Japanese and I also want to learn other languages. I have experience in film production, and I’m interested in video production. My hobbies are playing computer games, baking and traveling. You can always ask me about these things! I like to talk and all always ready to tell funny stories. Nice to meet you!

عني كمعلّم

When I was in high school, I had a homestay with an American friend and a Japanese friend when I was in middle school. I introduced the local characteristics and traditional manners of Korea to them and I taught them about Korea. Even in simple sentences, we talked as much as we could, and I helped them get used to Korean. To learn a language, I think it is most important not to be afraid of mistakes. Listening and doing a lot is the way to improve your Korean. I will help you learn Korean like your friends.

The class will be based on materials that are tailored to what students like and want to learn. At the end of each class, I will send you feedback by correcting the missing words or incorrect expressions. Homework too. I also know how hard it is to learn a language from the position of learning English. Let's study together! I know how to talk in a friendly way. I want to have a class where we talk together. Don't be afraid of mistakes and just talk! I will be your Korean friend.
