Throughout my business career I've trained many people and have become well-practised in patiently coaching and developing staff. Also, having learnt languages myself, I've taken the same journey as my students, so I know the challenges! I apply all of this experience to my teaching. I learnt in the CELTA course to carefully stage lessons to suit my students' levels and abilities. I love to elicit answers from students by asking relevant questions, so my classes are stretching, yet carefully paced. I'm aware that learning English can be life-changing for many students and I approach each lesson professionally. However, I do have a sense of humour and my lessons are also fun! دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
With all new students I start with a placement test. I use the web platform Off2Class which highlights students' areas for development. Then taking into account each student's goals, I design a course of lessons to suit their individual needs. For example, over the last 6 months I have been teaching a sales manager in Italy who has moved from B1 to B2/C1 level and now confidently delivers presentations in English. I have also taught IELTS. Off2Class has a library of over 1000 lessons so there are classes to suit every need, but I still add in my own materials and marketing experience. My style is professional, yet friendly and fun and students gain in confidence and fluency.5.0
