I am a certified professional teacher. I met and taught a lot of people since I have started teaching on italki. I know what kind of difficulties people from different countries have when they learn Korean. Especially in terms of pronunciation and intonation. I think pronunciation is one of the most important yet difficult parts. As I love singing I’m interested in pronunciation and vocalisation.
I am very patient. During my lesson never be afraid of making mistakes. I can’t speak English well but it won’t be a problem with our communication. We will try together and it’s absolutely ok if you don’t understand everything now. دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I use different materials for different levels. I usually give homework to practice, but don’t worry it’s not much and we can always discuss it together.
For beginners, I approach with grammar because it’s essential to build up a strong basis to further progress.
For intermediate students, I approach with grammar as well as reading practice on a range of topics that help acquire more expressions.
For advanced students, we will learn from advanced texts, news, videos. During the class, we will have discussions followed by writing homework.
I can’t be a perfect teacher for everyone because you all have different preferences and learning styles. But I can do my best for you.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

I think Hyun Ku is a great teacher! He’s super nice and approachable and creates a really comfortable learning environment. I also really appreciate how when there is a word that I don’t know or understand, he’ll explain the meaning in depth and similar words as well.

As someone who was learning Korean alone and was too shy to speak to native speakers, 현구 씨 has enabled me to finally pluck up the courage and speak! He is patient and very encouraging. The lesson was enjoyable and very informative so be prepared to learn from the get-go!
If you're looking for a comfortable environment to learn and a really great teacher, I couldn't recommend 현구 씨 enough!
