I am very easy going, and available after office hours or on the weekends. You can choose what we will chat about, and I will not 'kill' a conversation by correcting you every word. We will chat, and after a while I will see where we can improve your skills here and there. I am very patient, especially since I learned Spanish without classes, simply by talking to my friends, I understand how important it is to not feel pressured while practicing your language. We will have a relaxed cup of tea behind our computers together. If you like you can choose a topic to talk about, or if you prefer I can prepare something to discuss with you. I am a big fan of conversational classes, rather then kill the buzz by studying too much grammer. Great if you can write perfectly, but if you can't chat away in your new language, you are missing out!5.0

I’m just beginning to learn Dutch, so I appreciate how encouraging Sofie is when I make mistakes or blank on a certain verb. She has a really friendly and conversational style of teaching which makes you feel at ease. I highly recommend Sofie to other people looking to learn Dutch on iTalki!
