I'm patient, respectful and result-oriented. I discovered my love for teaching languages while I was volunteering in an association to teach Haitian Creole to foreigners who were visiting my country. It has become a passion, than a career.
I know that learning a language is not easy. It demands persistence and dedication. So, me as a teacher will help you through this journey to make it exciting and worthy.

My methodology is focused on practicing theories: 80% practice tasks (Listening, Speaking, Vocabulary) and 20% theory (Grammar, Verbs). Since speaking a language means being able to listen, understand, and having a conversation, my students will learn new vocabulary in every lesson and will use the same vocabulary for homework, speaking practice, and quizzes. My students not only learn the language but they will be discovering the culture through articles, videos, podcasts, and so on.

For a long time I've been looking for the right teacher on italki, who would help me with my more specific needs as an advanced learner of French. I've now had several lessons with Migaëlle, and she has the patience and dedication to really help me focus on the problem areas with my French and support me in deepening my knowledge of the language. Amazing lesson! She really makes the most of the time and only speaks in English when absolutely necessary. When she’s typing the words out she is also saying them many times so you can really hear it and remember it. She also has great materials to go over.
