I love teaching and it is a greater joy to teach Bengali, my native tongue to people from all over the world. If you are from South Asia, I can help you learn Bengali very easily through Hindi or Urdu and if you are from anywhere else, of course, I can help you learn Bengali through English. I enjoy making my classes fun to all age groups and I have been teaching languages for the last 7 years now and my style is very flexible. I use grammar books occasionally but mostly we watch movies, series, and videos and learn Bengali step by step. I also consider myself very patient and responsible. Depending on the interest you show, I can go to great lengths to help you enjoy the process. دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My lessons focus on the needs of the student. If you want to travel to Bengal in India or go to Bangladesh, I will help you out with reading signs, banners, shop names, speaking the most common expressions for a tourist. If you are dating a Bengali, and want to connect with their culture, I will help you understand different elements of Bengali culture with the help of the Bengali language. If you want to study Bengali literature by stalwarts and watch famous Bengali movies, we will watch and read together in class step-by-step, frame-by-frame. I will also allot homework to you if you would like to work harder after the class hours. I use voice notes, PDFs, videos, and lots of conversations.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

Shubhankar is a very helpful and kind teacher. He knows how to tailor the lesson to your fitting and makes effective use of your time. Bengali is a difficult language for westerners like myself, but Shubhankar breaks it down in a very logical way and makes it easy to understand. I am grateful that he is my Bengali teacher.

Another really great class. I learned a lot and every minute was useful. Shubhankar is very patient, engaging, and so open to my (many) questions about pronunciation and grammar. I fully recommend him to anyone who really wants to better their Bangla.
