I consider myself patient, easy-going, flexible yet professional and knowledgeable. I would like to emphasize flexibility here as each person is different with different levels and needs. Humour can also go a long way :-). I try to make the lessons as enjoyable as possible, as having fun and enjoying the process is crucial. دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
For each lesson, I create PowerPoint slides in which I put a lot of visuals (to better remember vocabulary) and interactive exercises (I use textbooks with lots of scaffolding, videos, articles and games). My lessons are communication-centered, although I like to incorporate all skills (speaking, writing (->homework), listening and reading). I think contextualizing language is important.
I use various methods during my lessons: the Communicative Approach and Task-Based Language Teaching, Presentation-Practice-Production, translation (- I know this is controversial, but it considerably fastens language learning. Fatime creates the lesson based on student's needs and level. Each class has a different topic. Each class begins with a short revision of what we did previously, and there is homework at the end. Well-structured and inspiring me to learn more!
