نبذة عني
معلّم في آيتاكي منذ 29 Jan 2014
I love gardening, especially using indigenous plants, we have such a rich variety of plant species in South Africa. I have studied garden design and enjoy helping friends to redesign their gardens. I love animals and zoology was one of my favourite subjects to study. I recently raised a puppy as a guide/service dog and have never been without a pet of my own. During the 70s and 80s, I traveled extensively in Europe. I have been to Japan, Hong Kong, Nepal, Thailand and Sri Lanka too. I enjoy reading, these days mostly novels, but can lose myself in any literature concerning the conservation of nature. I have worked in many different areas; law, engineering, medical (human and animal).
عني كمعلّم
I am offering discount rates until mid June 2021. I have been teaching English online for over seven years. My lessons range from informal to formal, however I like my students to be relaxed during a lesson and to trust me in my ability to advance their English level at a pace that is comfortable for them. However, I do insist that my students are serious about their studies.
دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I admire my tenacious students who work so hard to achieve their goals. I tailor make my lessons to suit my student's needs. I have many grammar lessons which I have prepared that focus on the common mistakes English learners from different parts of the world make. During discussions we cover many different topics. For test preparation, I expect my students to work hard to achieve over and above the original score they had in mind. Grammar is just important as speaking, there is no point in learning only grammar and not being able to put it to use.
